"I've always thought that that sort of shirt is ugly and for young poor homosexuals."

... it's the jumper version.... for cold poor homosexuals.

Why can't people from Toronto have good taste like us? Maybe we should ask Shinobi.

:lol Dumb & Dumber is decent fun, but it wouldn't enter my top 100 comedies ever. But that simply shows how Toronto is a diverse city with diverse tastes.

I bet your favorite is Austin Powers because he's from near Toronto and that shows how Toronto is a homer city with homer homers.

Diversity is for fags! It's our way or the highway!

Root beer = tasty
Pizza = delicious
and
Dumb and Dumber = HILARIOUS

Pizza is a fine food. He just has to try a good BY pizza. But root beer? Root beer is downright nasty. Maybe if I'm dehydrating I'd drink it, but otherwise, it's the licorish of the soda family. Good & Plenty? PUTRID.

You better mean black licorce or not licorce, cause we don't take kindly to people who don't like red twizzlers round these parts, missy.

...I can't even laugh at that one...

Maybe Rummy should see to cleaning up the shit bag known as Iraq before worrying about my dislikes...fucking cunt.

Dumb and Dumber isn't nearly as funny after repeat viewings, which by virtue means it can't be considered a classic. Eddie Murphy's comedies from the 80's (Trading Places, Beverly Hills Cop 1 & 2, Coming to America, the 48 Hours movies) are the best comedies I've ever seen cause they're as funny the tenth time as they were the first.

BTW, licorce is also shit.

We got this company round here called Wood Oven Pizza and they do this AMAZING garlic and tomato base that is akin to feasting on the divine foodstuffs sent forth from the heavens.

And Dumb and Dumber is an incrediby funny film, though you have to be in a Beavis and Butthead mood to appreciate it. it's genius did not strike me on first watch either.

This is particularly harsh, Mike, since the guy laughs at everything. ;)

Since we're serious now, I'm curious if at least part of the strong disparity in opinions can be attributed to a generation gap. Eddie Murphy is no doubt a very funny man, but those movies really don't have the type of humour that I'd find funny over and over again, let alone a second time.. if the first. For the record, I've seen Dumb and Dumber about 24 times (thank you, TBS!).

Root beer and black licorce are both awful. I won't touch them. Good and Plenty are bad, I wouldn't choose to eat them, but I won't vomit if I'm fed them.

:lol A generation gap? How old are you, 12?

This is simply about different tastes, nothing more. Beavis and Butthead was about as funny to me as a crowbar to the nuts, yet others think it was genius. At least I laugh at Dumb and Dumber, and it's still funny...but it simply doesn't match the style of humour found in Murphy's 80's classics. Most of those movies BTW, I hadn't seen till the mid 90's.

21. Aren't you in your 50s? In all seriousness, I used "generation gap" loosely to be "age difference" in that we were raised in different times (even a decade) that had different types of humour. I mean, the movies you named were very much of a particular type of humour, present in the 80s, whereas Dumb and Dumber is more what you'd find in movies today. I considered that my cousins from the Maritimes, all in their 30s, thought Dumb and Dumber was "alright".

Fine, fair enough. It was just a thought, as "taste" is often molded by experience as much as any genetic makeup.

Btw, anyone who thinks of Beavis and Butthead as "genius" is either a tweenie or clinically retarded. Also, contra boutrosinit, you definitely don't need to be in a silly mood to appreciate Dumb and Dumber.

No way man. The scene where they talk about not spending money and it cuts to Lloyd and the other idiot walking out of a Ferrari in Ugg boots tipping everyone with $100 bills is inspired and hilarious.

Diff'rent strokes an' all.

Wait, what? The reason we're even discussing this is because I said that Dumb and Dumber is my favourite comedy. Of course I loved that scene. My point was just that you don't have to be in a Beavis and Butthead mentality to enjoy it.

Funny thing was I didn't think it was all that at first. The second time I saw it I was ready for some stupidity - hence my Beavis and Butthead argument.

Are you one of the ones that wears women's pants? How are they in the front as far as comfort. No pics, please, i just can't see those being comfortable for men.

I would be on of those boys.

They're not uncomfortable at all. I find them more comfortable because everything is nice and snug. You just have to wear them a bit lower than they were intended to be worn because otherwise there is not enough room for your balls.

And lo! Another photo!

This is myself and two mates (me on right), being drunk and disorderly at a mate's birthday.

Yay drink!
