But serioulsy guys how does anyone use gel dedorant, ...it just feels like you just got out of the shower still. From my experiences gel also wears off pretty quickly as well. Anyway just wondering what your preference is and why.

DO NOT USE GEL SPEEDSTICKS

That shit doesn't work at all. Had me stinking by 5 in the afternoon. I'm a very clean person too, so it wasn't my fault I was smelling. I actually smelled better by not putting deoderant on all day than I did using Speedstick.

i use old spice: red zone, which is a soft solid. best smelling deoderant line on the market, imo.

Powder shit rubs off on my clothes. I've been using scentless gel Mitchum's for nearly a couple years now and it's worked just fine.

That's a good point - if I use a lot it'll leave white marks on the inside of dark shirts. Not a big deal, but kind of annoying. Invisible solid my ass. :lol I'll still continue to use it, though.

But seriously, Gel wears out WAYY to quick. I'm not a huge fan of powder, because it clumps up your armpit hair and is hard to scrub out sometimes. But it lasts much longer.

I am a clear gel guy myself.. I tried to use Axe's deodorant recently (invisible solid, but not white/powdery), but that ended up irritating the hell out of my skin and making it peel. Shame because it smelled really ****in' good (used the Touch variety).

The Arm & Hammer invisible solid is the only white/powdery kind of deodorant I'd use.

I type very quickly and without Microsoft Word by my side shit happens =\ I'm sure a kind mod will fix that for me <3.

I use Axe and have three of them, but Redzone lasts the whole damn day when I go to the gym.

I don't use either (powder or gel anti-perspirant). I pretty much only use plain-jane "deodorant," the non-cakey sticks that almost no one cares about any more.

I've always found that despite its name, anti-perspirant ends up causing me to sweat more. Deodorant keeps the stink out, and I usually stay pretty dry.

If I had to choose between the two, I'd choose the powder, however. I tried that gel stuff once and it felt like applying sweat to your underarms.

I was just about to make a Deodorant thread. I recently started school, and for some reason my stuff keeps wearing off 6 hours into the day for no apparent reason (During the summer it lasted all day, so I have no idea what's going on there). Can somebody reccommend some really strong stuff that has a good scent?

Clear stick is the best it's smooth and it stays all day long.

Gel doesn't last all day plus it leaks and powder can give you rashes and is dry.

At first I was all turned off by the "XTREME" and the "POWER STRIPE" and the "BAM MARGERA", but I'll be damned if I don't stay dry all day. Best deodorant I've ever used.

Seriously, powder gets all up on my shirts and shit, and I've never had a problem with gel wearing out too quick.
