Call of Duty "Stunning Visuals"?
Gotta keep that marketing deal happy I guess.
OK, the engine was stunning in 1999.

You could've put Ratchet, Returnal, or even Miles with RT in that video before Call of Duty.
Those games do look beautiful.
I don't even like racing games, but those Reflections in Grand Turismo want me to give it a go. Why do i keep wanting to say Grand Torino, you know the Clint Eastwood film, so DAMN GOOD.
This scene is just amazing.
After witnessing Forza Horizon 5's spectacular recreation of Mexico in the trailers and gameplay demos, GT7 just doesn't seem all that impressive to me anymore.

Sony... You can't be promoting GT7
like this when you've just said it's cross gen, after revealing it at an event saying "we believe in generations, let us show you things only possible on next gen" - or something to that effect, I'd have to go watch the event again for the exact phrasing.
Lyin' Jim Ryan. You know... At a certain point you have to look across the pond and think "XB took some flack at the time, but dammit they came out right at that start and said no next gen only games for a few years. Their fans knew right or wrong what they were getting into."
PS is operating on half truths and playing semantics with wordplay to justify their shit. I hate Ryan's PS. It's totally indicative of him being a slimey business man, worse than Spencer. Ffs even Matrick's era was more bluntly up front with people "well, that's not our policy going forward, buy a 360 instead". It takes a real dick to start making Matrick retroactively start looking good.
Its Forza for me as well and its not even close. After witnessing Forza Horizon 5's spectacular recreation of Mexico in the trailers and gameplay demos, GT7 just doesn't seem all that impressive to me anymore.
But is so beautiful, towards the light, TOWARDS THE LIGHT!The reflections make you want to try a racing game?
My friend you need to lay off the salt water awhile too much sodium is bad for you
It is pretty but I just dont care about RT in racers and shootersBut is so beautiful, towards the light, TOWARDS THE LIGHT!
The new Forza Horizon looks great, but cars will always look better in GT games; the lighting is second to none and the colours look super natural. For a car racing game, to me, this is super important, more so than photorealistic shrubbery. Its Forza for me as well and its not even close.
GT looks decent enough but cant wait for FH5

I’ll be enjoying FH5 for what it is - a fun, open-world racer, but I’ll always be more of a GT fan. For me, the genius of GT is nothing to do with visuals, but the recommended gear indicator, which appears to be unique to the series. I hate racing lines because they spoil the aesthetics, so the recommended gear indicator is such a brilliant alternative and allows you to slowly take more risks to improve lap times.True but they are also different types of racers.
I look forward to the next Forza Motorsports that one is more of a direct comparison.

It's not truly forza unless we see people.
some physics improvement incomming, and yeah now "In development for PlayStation" no longer playstation 5Firstly, the scenes used are for the most part slightly longer, meaning we do get to see slightly more than before. That does throw us a particularly interesting, blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment on the in-car clip with the Porsche Carrera GT.
As the car is driving, the temperature gauge within the instrument cluster drops from 16.4°C to 16.3°C and then goes back up to 16.4°C. That could indicate that track temperature is something actively measured and playing a role within the game’s physics engine.
It doesn't matter in GT7's case. It started development as a PS5 only title. So they'll probably use Nixxes to port it to PS4.Sony... You can't be promoting GT7

Graphics make good games great. Graphics are fun to look at.
So you think many of the major titles coming to Game Pass won't be available on Xbox One? Lmao. You can bet your ass each and every single game already announced and then some are going to be on Xbox One. It's not like they will cut off half or more of their subscribers, you must be high to think that.Sony... You can't be promoting GT7

This changes everything!according to gtplanet

I wrongly wrote, its "In development for PlayStation"This changes everything!
I pumped 300 hours into demons souls. game was seriously impressive from a graphics/technical standpoint. Only thing that beats it IMO is Ratchet
when you have these ps5 exclusives running on higher end tv's in quality mode especially at larger sizes 65"+ man oh man does ps5 truly shine.

Such a strange commercial, as far as timing. The games are out that do the talking for them about next-gen graphics, they didn't use some of the games that really say it (they excluded Ratchet, then they used year-old footage of GT7, what gives?), and they've got no hardware on shelves to sell so why spend the money telling consumers why they have to have what they can't have? If this had been new footage of Horizon FW or GT7, even if it was the same areas, then that'd be something, but this is whatever.
BTW, why post a 4K30 commercial to advertise 120Hz features?
That's the weird thing though, this commercial is trying to show off how great PS5 is on Youtube. Demon's Souls really settles in on you and consumes your eyeballs over time with richness and density and clarity. In small doses, it doesn't always pack the same punch (especially compared to Ratchet or a Horizon clip.) Good-looking game, for sure, but who is just now finding that out?
I actually don't think the majority of their 2022 games will come to Xbox One with native port-downs, but more because of market interest than technical. Xbox has always had a severe fall-off in viability when a new console comes out (whereas PlayStation lasts a little longer as a hand-me-down and casual gaming machine.) We're already seeing a few games being announced that are listing, "Coming to Switch, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S" for platforms (no big games, mostly in the casual gamer market.) Maybe Xbox One will buck the trend and it's too early to consider its retirement, and certainly Game Pass swivels the math, but maybe not. MS can stream the big games to the unconverted, and by the time it matters to consider how much longer to do cross-gen (they already indicate they have changed all those plans from before,) Xbox Series will have two Christmases behind it and maybe even a price drop, and the One will probably be done.
True but they are also different types of racers.

Uh huh. Sure thing guy.Youtube doesn't do 120fps and afaik sony upload all their stuff to youtube then embed it, So can't really bitch about that.
Demons Souls looks fantastic in trailers etc on YouTube lol. You don't need it to sink in.
This ratchet is amazing narrative kinda annoys me, as much as I detested the game TLOU2 & Doom Eternal looks better (but that's personal preference) and the instant loading jumping between relms isn't an advantage of the SSD, Titanfall 2 did it too and better tbh.
