CV is one of my favourite RE games and this, as expected, looks incredible.

Also, very happy to see Capcom supporting the Switch 2. I know it will perform better on all other platforms, but I might get the Switch 2 version just so I can play it in portable mode.

When it was released on the Dreamcast, it was praised with perfect 10/10 reviews (mostly praised for amazing graphic jump for that time). I never had a chance to play it, so I was surprised to find out that many people now consider it one of the weaker and more dated entries in the franchise. I'm really glad it's getting a remake.

Well, judging from the RE4 Remake this is pretty much a sure thing to happen. Not that it's bad though. The original was pretty cringe at times. I'm really curious on how they'll handle Steve and Wesker in this one.

I've always thought that Steve's VA is one of the reasons a lot of people didn't like him. There's no doubt they'll improve that. I'm also curious about Wesker too. I'm wondering if they'll include all the scenes from Code: VX or more or less.

As far as I've seen, Capcom doesn't name these teams and they make it difficult to track, that's why I just call it a theory.

Well that, and the fact that Team C was either oddly missing for multiple years or at best, maybe they were morphed into a DLC team for each game. But again it's difficult to know.

I remember that, I had to wait for the PS2 version to finally be able to play it and it was great.

But I replayed it a few years ago, I think after RE2 remake and thought it was ok. Not a bad game but dated. Not because of the graphics or the cringe dialogues, but because of some game design decisions.

I think it's one of the weakest games of the original run, though still above Zero.

It's awesome that Capcom keeps pushing the graphics instead of pulling an EA with their remakes. They could be lazy and release all of these looking like RE2 Remake but each one looks better and better.

It's a remake, after RE2 she dumps Sherry onto Leon and goes straight to keep looking for his brother, CVX happens a few months after RE2 as well, so there is nothing from Claire happening in between that timeline

Trailer looked great and nothing like CVX, I like how they're adding a prologue to the story, because in the original she goes to the Umbrella Building in France shooting bullets like crazy and then get overwhelmed and captured, here you see her arriving to France looking for Chris normally, cool they'are adding more to the story and I guess Hunk is in fully and not just name dropped in some note unless it's not the real one but someone from his team

The forest shown is what I cannot see a connection with the original game, overall it's great they're finally remaking CVX after so many years

Claire co-stars in RE2 with Leon and with Barry in RE Revelations 2. She co-stars in Code Veronica with Chris, but it always felt like her role was larger than Chris' - maybe because her parts of the game seem longer to me. She's also been in the rail shooter re-imaginings they did for some of the titles. That's off the top of my head, but I may be missing some of her roles. The difference between her and the others is she isn't a special agent or part of the police force, but she's been fairly prominent in the series - just not so much in the mainline titles past Code Veronica.
