Might as well call it Xbox 4.
Nah, probably should be Xbox Against

Everyone is cheering and stuff over what MS done and now is rumored to do. I feel like these moves are mistakes. It's like people have closed minds and don't wan to even consider new ideas/ gameplay options.
I would be really dumb for MS to remove the Kinect IMO.
I can't believe MS has removed everything that makes the XB1 unique. Not saying it was stuff I wanted, but believe it or not there were people who wanted the system based on what it had a few weeks ago. This is amazing.
".@Xbox confirms NO #XboxOne price drop due to NO kinect requirement. #XboxOne is "competitively priced" & xbox is "confident with the value."
But is the Kinect still bundled?
Usually 10 million head start gives significant advantage. PS3 was actually a very weird surprise for everyone since it actually caught up with it.
WiiU on the other hand....
Debatable. But the performance gap is huge compared to last gen. That's going to hurt when the second wave multiplatform games start coming out.it was "more powerful" last gen too and people still chose 360.

At this point, they might as well just start shipping PS4 consoles with Xbox stickers on them.
i don't even mean sales,i mean mindshare. 360 was "the" console this gen like ps2 was last time.

Now announce a console without Kinect for 100 less.
I'll be waiting too of course, but my reasoning would be to gauge multiplatform game performance. A major reason why I chose the 360 back in January 2009 was because Bayonetta ran better on it.
You are one of those "sales only count in the United States" people aren't you
Maybe to you and your friends
360 had rrod issues and they still got it over ps3. It had to have some kind of value that people still wanted that specific system.

I think they may be removing the always on for Kinect
Would be a smart move but they need to realllly market this because I think a lot of people relate the device to "spying" already.
You don't actually believe this, do you?

He meant they've previously removed features (family sharing, game switching etc) and now this in addition (if true, which I doubt it is, just some PR person not knowing their stuff most likely and given the way it has been handled so far that's not too hard to believe).they removed a feature ? where ?
all im seeing is a removed requirement for a camera, everybody thought spied on them.
i dont get why people spin this into negativity

Well Microsoft said the cloud made XBONE like what 40 times faster? If that's even half true then XBONE packs in more power than PS6 without a cloud.
That would make it officially better than PS4.
Countless millions spent on research and development...talking about the deep Kinect connectivity...Clearly their vision for the future is falling apart around them...Blind panic.

JUST PRICE IT AT $399 AND KEEP THE KINECT INCLUDED BUT NOT REQUIRED TO FUNCTION AND BE DONE WITH THIS ALREADY. YOU CAN AFFORD IT, MICROSOFT.

Next Week MS announces that they'll have 18CU and 8GB of GDDR5 RAM
The following week they'll announce that they are releasing Last Guardian.
