WTH MS
Scalebound and Quantum Break are two of the reasons I got a Xbox one to go with my WiiU
Guess E3 is all Nintendo for me then
You do realize that those games are still coming out and are just being shown two months away?

It's not really about Kudo though. I just don't want Oculus or Hololens infesting Microsoft's conference in general. Especially since they had an Oculus presser and Hololens isn't even close to being ready.
Sony was smart in doing a lot of their Morpheus stuff at GDC when it was a ways off from releasing. If Microsoft is out there putting Hololens on parade when it's not close to being ready and they bumped three big games to do it then yeah, I'll be a little annoyed. I sat through enough Kinect at E3 to know I don't want it with Hololens too.
The thing about the American Football market is that there's only really the one choice: Madden. Even the more out-there arcade options are more or less dead at this point. And Madden is... let's go with "less than universally loved." So there's a not-inconsiderable pool of people who're looking for something, anything else. And for PC exclusive types, there's not even that. So I'd say they've got room to do both, at least in the immediate future.
Three heavy hitters at Gamescom. They must have some nice stuff to show @ E3 to move these 3 out.
Kudo definitely makes it sound like there will be Oculus/Hololens stuff at the E3 keynote

I hope those games werent bumped for this :/
I remember when E3 was where you show off your big games, its wierd to see them not show off 3 of their biggest exclusives.
I'm not a Halo fan

Phil said there's no much room for Hololens, for Oculus, i doubt even there.
Stop acting like there will be 1 hour VR/AR in MS conference.
That means they've got to have a lot of new goodies for E3. Sort of more hyped for their E3 conference now.

Is he selling his Xbox One? Because all he said was he would skip MS briefing for E3.You do realize that those games are still coming out and are just being shown two months away?

Does Microsoft not have the most confidence in those titles if they aren't putting them on the main stage at E3? Scalebound was one of my more anticipated titles this year. Bummer.
E3 is also where you make announcements of new things. I'm not really excited to see games we already know about shown on stage, at best it will be 3 minutes of faked gameplay. Feedback from the show floor or behind the scene demos are much better for that.
Basically this. This gives Microsoft the chance to focus on games coming this year. Who knows, they still might have unannounced stuff for 2015I expect a 20 minute Rise demo to make up for this. It does make sense to push 2015 games though at E3, then 2016 at gamescom.
Now I'm interested to see what they have for E3.
I think CoD is Sony's playball now; I expect some Fallout 4 footage instead.
It's two months laterThey must be in some serious development troubles just like Phantom Dust, I wouldn't be surprised if some of them get outright axed, and at best we'll wait many year for these games to come out. At least now MS will have their version of TLG.
It's two months later
That's what MS wants you to believe. Can't you read the signs? It's more like 2 years later, and that's if they're not already canceled.
We already know what we're getting at the MS conference.
90 minutes show with Halo 5, Tomb Raider, Forza 6, Gears of War Remastered + Gears of War next teaser, new Rare game, Hololens talk, Windows 10 integration with Xbox, trailers and demos of a few third party games + indies.
I think there's enough stuff and premieres to make a good show. Those expecting much more than that will be inevitably disappointed.

Nah, Quantum Break became a Gears Spin-off, Crackdown became a Halo spin-off and Scalebound became Forza spin-off.

" Transported to a distant, hostile world, you'll come face to face with fearsome creatures, including a formidable dragon. The bond you forge with this awesome predator will prove crucial to the survival of this world, and your own."
I know you're joking, but that's because it's very difficult for you to process the truth:
1. Quantum Break: Two times pushed from E3, use a CG trailer and pretend it's gameplay, also Remedy in interviews said they want to develop Alan Wake 2 instead Quantum Break and they won't work with MS anymore.
2. Scalebound: Introduced through CG trailer, no gameplay, now Platinum put the game on hold and they're working exclusively on a new IP instead to be revealed next week.
3. Crackdown: Also introduced through CG trailer and they fired the only guy who can harness the power of the cloud Kompheld, they also get him banned from the internet.
Can't you see? Open your eyes, all of them are in serious trouble.

So no Scalebound at E3? Fuck.
