But you don't need to move your elbows like, at all, it's all in the wrists
Those are "sub" weapons. Specials are activated by pressing the right stick when you've filled the meter. When people talk about supers do they just mean the bombs you throw with R? I love the game but I had no clue what I was doing most of the time.
I made 5/6. Won some inkjet duels this time and finally got a bit of traction with aiming after dual-dodging.

Well that was a sour note to end on. I played like garbage since I only slept for two hours before getting up for it (going back to bed now, I ain't got nothing to do on a lazy Sunday morning/noon), which was made worse by the fact I was in the lobby for 30 of the 65~ minutes I was in. The last lobby searched for seven minutes straight as people kept getting in and leaving, and it resulted in being kicked from the servers.
Maybe I'll be less grumpy about it when I wake back up.
Still super excited for the full game. Bring on July.
Got into a few of the test fire blocks....no lag or anything, the online seems pretty smooth. Wow, it looks rough on a 4K set though. How high does the dynamic res go?
I had a lot of fun, too. I onky ever saw two western names written in katakana.Didn't have the best last hour, even ended with a loss.
Only ever saw 1 Japanese name.
Yep, after a few rounds of the test fire, I've come to the same conclusion as after a few hours with Splatoon 1: I hate how this game controls, and have no interest in the franchise. More money for good games!
That moment when my Switch went from 100% to 78% within the hour at half brightness (since it's dark and didn't want to burn my eyes out)
What did you hate about it? Did you fiddle with sensitivity and turning motion control off?
Did any of you have any problems at all connectionwise? It played perfectly once my wifi worked
Yeah, I tried both but still no joy. You are at a big disadvantage if you turn motion control off, and no sensitivity setting felt good. Glad so many people adore this series, but I've not got th patience to be one of them. Back to Overwatch for a competitive fix.
The Splatoon Twitter posted this.
That's a .52 Gal and a Blaster. The other middle one looks like a Pro and the other one is an inkbrush?
looks like one of the nozzlenoses and that's an octobrush
Ah, I tried the motion controls again but it was WAYYYYY too high in sensitivity and didn't have the patience to try getting used to it or lowering the sensitivity. I'll probably play around with it when the full game comes out. I was doing decent/good because I was groggy, but could definitely notice that it was difficult to pull a 180 on someone after rolling with -2 sensitivity. I won't change the sensitivity because I prefer it for accuracy but I figured motion could've helped me there
I forgot octobrushes were a thing. But if it's returning then the traditional inkbrush is pretty much guaranteed.
I have absolutely NO idea how I made such a good score...
How is that calculated ?
As someone who didn't play Splatoon 1 and never play any shooter game (or close enough) I was surprised.
Not that I got more than 1800 pts anytime after again though : P .
