FY2018 starts this year, y'all.
It's hard for me to even imagine FF7Remake ever being finished. I know we'll get the first part of the series. But, it seems so far off, I can't even wrap my head around when subsequent episodes will be done. If it's a trilogy, we are literally talking about the last game being a 2022 game, at best.
Just, fucking insanity.
Ok but ignoring that, is there a reason I don't see project octopath travellers,l on this list? ( Unless it is there and I'm just so tired I can't even spot things I'm specifically looking for any more).
Just because it's nintendos exclusive? HD pipeline is such a terrible name

Yup. The trilogy will be finished on hardware that isn't even made yet or out of initial design phases yet. CDPR's Cyberpunk could possibly beat Episode 1's release date and have more content than the entire FF7r trilogy combined. It's unbelievable how slow SE is and continues to be with these games.
Uhm it says fiscal year 2018... FY... So more than 7 months of 2017 available for launch.
Kingdom Hearts is kind of baffling to me as well on the basis that it isn't even a regular RPG or an open world game that needs to be filled with 80 zillion tons of content.
Unless something has change dramatically, it presumably still has the gameplay structure of a PS2 licensed game.
At least it was obvious what was taking a while with Final Fantasy XV after the reboot.
Spring 2018. Book it.

Does this mean dq11 releasing overseas in 2017 considering they announced a date for Japan and show a date for ff12 remaster?
Sprint 2018 for new concept art reveal and promise of more glimpses of the gameplay in the 'months to come.' Book it.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider towards the end of the year?

So how long until Tabata comes along and pushes this game out the door?
Lmao FFVIIR is really fucking far.
Are we expecting Shadow of the Tomb Raider* this year? Seems a bit soon considering there was almost 3 years between TR2013 and RotTR.
.
Squeenix are really quite the idiots for giving FF7R to Nomura.
KH3 has far bigger worlds and supposedly far more to do in the worlds than previous games. In the previous games each world was various rooms segmented by loading screens. This looks to be every world being completely open with a lot of vertical drops, highs and scale in general, in addition to far larger setpieces that take place in the world itself as opposed to a sealed off boss room(like we've seen with rocktitan)
Its definitely not the previous KH formula handhelds and console had.
I'm really surprised it's not slated for release this year.
REALLY surprised.
Well not that surprised.
I don't expect KH3 or FF7r to come before 2019.
In 2018, Nomura will announce that he's leaving the directorial seat to Hajime Tabata and the history shall repeat itself.
