I wish I could play these games. Too hard.
Difficult as well.

Brother, SB is very doable on its original difficulty setting - this isn't Lies of P/First Berserker Khazan etc etc.

Maybe the 1st couple of hours where you're underpowered are tough (and that's where basically you have to play it as a Souls-y game) but after getting some moves/specials you'll start wrecking shit left and right.

It's still a beautiful looking game with some great exploration and chill music - nothing super-original mind you but good none the less.
You could do way, waaaaayyyy worse in choosing a game.

Super solid 7.5~8/10 title, I wholeheartedly suggest it to anyone that enjoys action adventure games.

Cheers

Thats a trans-man, in case someone is gooning to this. The broad shoulders, adam's apple and the buldge give it away. Just like how Maki comes out at the end of Soul Calibur V. Or it's just Raiden with dyed hair.
I'm assuming you meant Maxi but even then that's lies.

Its just for promotion and fun so, but Im still dissapointed it's just AI generated, not ingame assets. Evie looks good but I still miss sexy Eve and also Raven and Tachy.

Yeah that makes me genuinely concerned about Blood Rain. I know it's just a stupid music video, but the fact the CEO thought it was good to post something like this, shows where his head is at. He already said he's fully embracing GenAI. It's not a good look.

Evie is incredibly attractive, and on top of that, she really has a nice voice.

EDIT: I also like how they are trying to portray Evie as a rather approachable, and relatable young girl.

I mean... I know Asians don't mind AI stuff
And honestly I don't mind that much and when they pointed out some AI generated stuff in promotional arts I was like whatever..., but this is THAT MUCH
WTF SHIFT UP

AI is a tool but I can't say I appreciate this video.
Not because of the AI use itself, more because I feel the criticism of Eve having a flat personality and the plot being underdeveloped was taken seriously at first, but now they have 2 pieces of media pertaining to the new MC, one which is serious and ingame, with Evie feeling like a rebellious teenager in a dirty and dusty world, and now she is hopping into puddles and singing and whatnot.
It just doesn't feel right tonally, and feels like a cheap attempt to make Evie seem like she has 'personality'.. by appealing to idol stans of all people. It feels fan-servicey in the worst way, in a way that betrays its own world.

Now, one could take this video as just a fun little extra, but the game is not established, nor is Evie as a character.

I'd have appreciated the video more if it was a separate character like Enya. Some post-apocalyptic idol-type character that will appear in the game and is taken seriously as a character in a believable world, like Enya was.
But this just feels weird.

...

What are you talking about?
We only saw Evie for, like, 3 and half minutes, on assignment.

Not nearly enough to actually get to know what she is actually like.

Maybe shift up plans her to have jolly and perky personality just like Yuffie of FF7.

This 100%. I don't like it at all.

And also because it's AI, which is not irrelevant, regardless of whether or not it's one of the themes in the series.

On a meta level, it's actually pretty smart to frame the game using this exact type of AI video and pop culture.
So much of sci-fi, so as Stellar Blade, revolves around the modern conflict between humans and machines, androids, AI, and the rights and responsibilities that might come with that.
Breaking the fourth wall, especially with that short making-of at the end, feels like a wink to the audience - a playful shifting of realities between our world and the protagonist's; the whole video project leaves so much room for interpretation.
Most Western viewers will probably just write it off as a goofy AI video, but honestly, completely independent of the content, the twist behind it is just really smart and funny to me.
