Edit: I think I got the non-canon ending to Suikoden II back in the '90s. It ended on a down note, but I think I appreciated it more than the "everyone gets to be friends" one, even as a kid.

If Star Leap is a success, we may get VI and even stuff after that. I wish they would translate and port the Suikogaiden games at some point since VN's are popular these days.
