I don't know if I worded this title well enough but there's a sale going on on EU PSN and there's a lot of questions on this in the thread with very little actual information.
You may have heard about the issue when PS2 games were first released on PS4. Over here in PAL regions PS2 games were being released in their 50Hz form, even if they originally had a toggle between the two, and then being forced to output in 60Hz by the PS4. The result? A lot of stuttering. It was widely talked about.
However apparently a lot of these games received patches for this later on but very little attention was paid to that and I'm not finding any official info either. Unlike Nintendo Sony doesn't state in their store description if the title is 60Hz or not.
From what I read the Star Wars games, Dark Cloud and maybe Rogue Galaxy all received 60Hz patches. (Confirmation on those would be appreciated though...)
But what about Dark Chronicle? Ark the Lad? PaRappa? Twisted Metal? There are many more.
I find it very hard to find confirmation on which PS2 games received patches and which didn't, and if current releases are fine now or if things go in a case by case basis. It would be great if anyone had more info on this, maybe even a list if one exists. Unless I'm overlooking something google searching isn't returning much information on this for me.
