XD
Yeah, that's one of them.
So many people on message forums don't notice that the way words are used is just as much a part of discussion as the content of the message. I read some of the other hardware threads and certain posters (who seem to be trolls in these Nintendo threads) are totally reasonable and don't troll at all, then they come here and it's really harsh aggressive language and the constant othering of the very people they are addressing. It confuses me.
On the topic of only owning one console, I'm planning on WiiU as my main console, but with a supplement from PC. I've owned at least 2 consoles each generation since the SNES days, so I'm not too bothered by the idea of multiple consoles and will likely pick up a PS4 much later in the cycle when the price goes down and there are tons of cheap games to pick up. With that said, I also never assume Nintendo will have 3rd party parity.
There's a good bit of this going on for me too:
I'm just a one console guy. But that's mostly because I buy consoles based on their first party content and by default that means Nintendo for me. I don't care enough for Sony's IP and especially the ones from MS to actually buy their consoles. I'd be doing it for the third party games and honestly, I like a 360 controller on PC just fine. I suppose I'm going to look into PC gaming more and more.
Plus handheld gaming is kinda slurping away my time.
