For me, it's gotto be this bitch right here. Jeanne from the first Bayonetta game:
The picture above shows her fourth and final ("true") form, as prior to this you fought her 3 times, each time getting progressively worse. And the difficulty is not simply beating her -- the game gives you many, many tools to do that which can make it easy. But if you're trying to beat her in the game's highest difficulty and get a "Pure Platinum" (essentially "perfect") ranking.... yeah, you will lose a lot. And probably rage a lot, too

So, GAF, what boss(es) have you found incredibly difficult, cheap, or annoying? Discuss!

Just to quickly recap:
- Seems like her moveset is almost completely random. It's practically impossible to cheese her or exploit the AI. This is not like "SNK boss syndrome" that, even if they're cheap, their AI is so simple it can be exploited.
- She has practically instantaneous Wicked Weaves. There's pretty much no warning, she can pull them out at anytime. She says something that sounds like "Bare!" but by the time she says it, it's too late and you're likely eating one of her Wicked Weaves to the face.
- She has multiple moves (a punch dash move and a heel slide, among others) that can cover a hilariously large distance within single digit frames, and she will likely hit you with one of those moves. I mean, you have to essentially be a pseudo-god at parrying or dodging to avoid those moves in certain situations. It's ridiculous.
- I love Bayonetta 1, it's one of my favorite games of all time. But man, the design of the Jeanne boss fights is terrible. She's by far the most difficult boss, yet:
- The camera is absolutely horrible in most segments of her fights. (Camera issues are bad throughout the game, and it's a huge stain on an otherwise flawless game). Which means you can't see shit, and since she can instantaneously summon moves that require single digit frame counters/parries, often off-camera, you will very likely get hit at some point.
- It's not hyperbole to say that the stage design is horrendous. The game designers went for over-the-top Japanese "cool" action set pieces, but they didn't take into account that these are Jeanne fights. So you're fighting this most difficult boss on, for example, the top of a moving rocket -- I mean, it's not the biggest problem for me but that shit is borderline seizure-inducing. So you have a shaky rocket, with a really bad camera, fighting this exceptionally difficult boss. Recipe for disaster
- EDIT: Of course I forgot that you can't combo her, unless you're on Witch Time (which of course is not available on the hardest difficulty without a special item).
- EDIT2: She has pretty instantaneous recovery on most of her fast moves.
