I would guess you're right that they tease Helix, but I think they stay cagey on the third party stores at least for now. Saying no to Steam (and EGS) definitively will surely kill momentum.

My hope is Fable is confirmed this year as there are some rumours about a delay. Other than that a Halo CE release date, more on Clockwork Revolution and obviously we have the big blowout of Gears which if nothing else will set a new graphics benchmark until GTA comes out.

ES 6 never had a release date and judging by Tod Howard's ego mania, it is not going to be good.

It's also going to be sold as an Expansion to TES5 so they don't have to include it on Gamepass.

As a bethesda/elder scrolls fanatic(back from og xbox/morrowind days) my only hope is we get to see proper gameplay trailer of ES6, it was long enough, ffs crimson desert showed there is humongous audience for games that even have 20-30% of potential ES6 entry, 30 to 50m sold copies(20m+ launchwidow fullprice sales) is on the table here

A couple of the Horizon games is all I can think of.

Marathon is an 8.5 btw. What's amazing you have the ability to judge something you don't play, but lets not derail yet another thread.

Avowed, Outer Worlds 2, Grounded, all 8's. Starfield also an 8. Doom TDA and Indiana Jones are 9. Ninja Gaiden 4 is 8.5. Horizon 6 will be 9.5. Age of Mythology Retold and expansion are 8.5.

Marathon is definitely 8.5, could've been a 9 if allowed to prosper or if it was a single player component too.

Starfield while enjoyable has way too many flaws and a terrible main quest to be anything more than a 7, when I played at launch.

Doom was decent but bare bones, 2018 was better. Indy looks nice but plays like a dog.

The hope is that they realize it is not 2006 anymore and they stop with the mentality they have to try to hype some fanatics online at all costs with cgi or fake trailers of games so early in development and without a clear direction that will end up being cancelled along the way.

I suspect they are self-aware that their stance is subject to change depending on how hopeful vs. desperate they feel at that moment, so they will keep it intentionally vague and murky.

Just demolished a major boss in second attempt. Parry is coming naturally, based on sound effects and visual cues. Its just working.

Definitely go for it.

Its easy for a first few chapters. That make it feel like a good but unremarkable game. Close to a pivotal moment it gets into a major difficulty spike. Thats when it clicks.

Halo campaign remaster could be interesting if they dont fuck up and i'm only interested in next gears of they overhaul the gameplay that was already stale and rotten many years ago.
