What is the biggest "holy crap!" moment you're expecting from E3?

What I'm hoping to see:

- Uncharted 4 trailer (with gameplay) and release date (late fall)
- Half-Life 3 announcement
- The Getaway 3 announcement
- Forza Horizon 2
- The Division gameplay, running on PS4
- PES 2015 (blowing FIFA out of the water, and with amazing visuals)
- New IPs obviously

What I'm expecting to see:

- A couple of new interesting IP's and not really much else. Hope I'm wrong and that I'll be pleasantly surprised.

I'm not expecting a "holy crap," moment, because if I'm expecting it then that automatically means it's not something I'm gonna be super duper surprised by.

Halo 5 having multiplayer akin to Halo 2 and Halo 3

Super Smash Bros Wii U includes Bayonetta

Guerilla Games' new IP is a fantasy WRPG and it looks incredibly good

I can't say I'd expect it to happen, but:

Gabe Newell walks onto the stage with something hidden under a curtain. He says nothing and simply removes the curtain, revealing the secret within:

A Steambox with a GTX 880.

"599 US dollars. Next-gen is here."

Footage from The Phantom Pain! Don't think I've ever gone an E3 without a "HOLY CRAP!" reaction to a Metal Gear trailer. Looking forward to "X" from Monolith Soft, too!

Nintendo's QoL earlobe sensor and health station console.

Not because I'd buy anything of the sort, but I want to see everyone's reaction.

AGENT!

Forever believe! That or Itagaki shows up on stage, and all is right in the world!

Ahh, nearly forgot about that vaporware.

I suppose it'll be announced alongside a newly revived Project H.A.M.M.E.R. on Wii U, eh? ;)

And I think a new F-Zero entry that takes into account what fans are asking for (which is effectively GX in HD with online). If Nintendo (read: Sega/the remainder of what used to be Amusement Vision) can manage to not screw that up, my jaw will hit the floor.

While I expect to say "wow" to nothing, I'll be interested to see what support the PS3 still has. Not particularly concerned with anything that will be shown on new systems right now.

I'm thinking if there's a new Phantom Pain trailer it will melt people's face off like the last one did.

FFXV as well, but we won't get anything from KH3.

For me I expect Mass Effect, The Order 1886 and Star Wars Battlefront to blow peoples socks off but I expect the new Zelda U or a surprise new Metroid game could steal the entire show.

Reggie fighting with someone over a stuffed bear on stage.

All kidding aside, curious to see what is Microsoft's exclusive Japanese-developed game, some megaton from Nintendo, and Fallout 4 footage.

Also please Alan Wake 2.

Probably another Adam Boyes and Yoshida video because you know there is going to be a dig at Xbox at the Sony conference.

I'm fully expecting Zelda for Wii U. Who knows how the gameplay will look, but I'm sure it'll be awesome visually.

Trailer for a new Metroid.
I'm playing Metroid Prime 2 for the first time tonight, and already I'm thinking about how much I'd love a current gen Metroid. I really don't want it to be in the Metroid Prime art style, though. I want something that pops a little more, maybe even something kind of cartoony or cell shaded.

-Uncharted 4 with shockingly new gameplay for the franchise(what does that even mean, I don't know, but hopefully ND does)
-Agent...anything about this game. No comments means that at worst, it's on hold indefinitely. You never know with R*
-GTAV port for fall 2014. IF it's going to happen, I'd say here would be a good place, and release it in September again like last year.
-Rock Band 4, especially from the comments that Harmonix guy made yesterday
-Mortal Kombat X(99% sure we'll a see a trailer the week before, followed by actual gameplay on the show floor. Get hype)
-Metroid and/or Zelda U. Self-explanatory
-Mirror's Edge 2/ Battlefront gameplay

Man, this year is going to be huge.

Any sign of life from The Last Guardian, at this point I would die of happiness for one (!) lousy screen shot.

But most likely: Uncharted 4.

The next Quantic Dream game would be another candidate, but that is probably E3 2015 tbh.

Every year Nintendo can "win" E3 at will. They always have the potential to do so but never live up. Maybe it's just my high expectations...

I'd say they won 2004, 2006 and 2010. They are due for another win, IMO, but it's gonna be hard.

Just you WAIT till you see their non-wearable quality of life devices.

Halo 5 will shock me, Halo 2 Annie will shock me if it's coming out alongside h5. The most shocking will likely be for the next Zelda though... if it happens.

Zelda U will be something.

As will Platinum's new XBone game.

As will Super Mario 64 HD and the Gyromite revival.

- "X" having a more impressive trailer.
- Zelda reveal that manages to perfectly skirt the line between open-world RPG and gameplay that would please old-school Zelda fans
- Final Fantasy XV's release date.

How is this thread different from the other one?

They won 2006, 2009, and 2010. And 2004 and maybe some earlier ones but from 2002-2005 I only really paid attention to Nintendo, and before 2002 none at all >_>.

I honestly expect 343 to do the Halo 2 E3 2003 demo with Halo 2 Anniversary.

Its the best way to introduce it. Have the opening few seconds be the actual trailer from E3 2004 (I think it was 2004), and then as the Phantom lands, and it goes from cinematic to gameplay, it moves onto the updated HD remake/graphics.

Oh and this time its an actual level in the game. Full on.
