After the Rhythm Heaven ghost was seen in Smash Run, the leaker still has some credibility in my eyes.

I'd say it's a certainty. Maybe halfway through development Sakurai realized he picked the wrong main character.

So the way robin works...

He spawns with a set amount of tomes... and once he uses them all he gets his levin sword? He only has the levin sword at one point in the trailer. At all other times he's using that greenish one. Bottom tier confirmed?

So as far as I can tell, this trailer shows off the updated roster as being:

Captain Falcon (Veteran, returning)
Ike (Veteran, returning)
Marth (Veteran, returning - with Lucina alt available)
Robin (Newcomer - female alt available)
Chrom (??? - Possibly part of a Final Smash or an Assist Trophy)

But what's it with Chrom? Is he an alternate? I didn't quite catch it on the phone screen.

We atleast now have grounds to say that the leak is sketchy at best.

He probably knew a couple of things but this proves that he didn't know everything and could even be wrong about some of them.


There is hope for Isaac and Ray yet, I'm so happy.

lol you guys thought Chrom was playable? He's part of Robin's final smash. It's supposed to represent the link up/friendship attacks.

I REMAIN STEADFAST IN MY ANTICIPATION FOR TAKAMARU. I BELIEVE.

Oh my God that was so refreshing. To recap:

- Captain Falcon concern trolling got a bullet in the face
- Everyone won the jackpot with regards to who the new Awakening person would be
- Fire Emblem is now Mario/Zelda/Pokemon tier
- Gematsu leaker got the legs snatched from under themselves with yet another Rosalina style swerve (still believe Shulk and Chorus Men are a thing though)

The only reason I lean towards "outdated information" is because of the X/Y Pokémon listing, and the subsequent E3 Roundtable where Sakurai admitted he had a spot for a new Pokémon character well before he even chose Greninja. I believe Shulk and Chorus Men are still new characters, the question is are they the only ones? It's definitely exciting.

That could happen!

Also, if freaking Robin was revealed before release, no way trees unlockable newcomers lol. We'll definitely see Shulk and a Rhythm Heaven rep in the next few months.

I didn't want to even bring it up last night, but I KNEW those last two e-mails Sal has posted on Smashboards seemed funky...

The leaker thought he had such a good shot for Shulk today. Sakurai said FUCK THAT.

Still don't doubt too much that we're getting Chorus Men and Shulk, but I think the extra notes (Lucas, DLC, "Enjoy Shulk!" ect,) are bullshit.

Agreed. We'll see what else comes out but there certainly is now room for some surprises that would baffle even the leaker.
