Late to the megaton, but wow! At this rate I'm never going to stop playing MK8. I love that Nintendo is finally testing the waters into including characters/tracks outside Mario. I feel it's long overdue.

Anyway new tracks and awesome new music for those tracks, plus it'll be funny to see how they do Link's voice samples for various situations, that and the slow motion replay gifs will be glorious.

Haven't been a big Mario Kart Fan post the pinnacle (aka double dash) but I always thought Kart/Party etc should have basically the smash roster instead of garbage fourth tier Mario characters.

Nah, none of those icons are actually used. Even the egg icon is a bit different now. Therefore, it's logical to assume that those are just placeholders put in there to make the programmers' work easier later on.

Oh, I see. Well, that's a little disappointing. Still gonna hold out hope for a kirby DLC pack eventually. :b

Except this is the price they agreed upon themselves. If they wanted to charge more, they could have.

I'm (very pleasantly) surprised they're going with this price. Like I said before, I expected $14.99 per pack. But in reality, we can get both for less than that!

Ultimately, this is fantastic since more people will buy the DLC, which means the online playing field will be less fragmented.
