So, let's say Wario's separate costumes follow the "four colors" rule. Which ones from Brawl would you keep?

For the WarioWare costume, I say definitely keep the badass black/red one, the orange one, and...either the blue/tealish-green one.
For the original, seeing as how the blue/pink costume has likely shifted over to Mario, I guess they'll keep everything except for...the white one?

Oh man, the Other M suit + the Gravity Suit colors is the coolest thing. Sakurai doing what Team Ninja won't. That Dark Samus color scheme on the suit though, HNNNNNNNG
Seriously considering learning Samus for real just because of these alt colors.

Serious business is cool from time to time and I really liked the ROB scene near the end but now that we've had a true story mode Smash I'm glad it's over with and I never have to wonder what if, you know? As much as I couldn't stand it after I completed it the first time I'm glad I'll never crave something like that again.
Samus needs to look like she breaks cinderblocks by crunching.
I'm not a huge fan of Nina Williams Samus.

I mean, he probably won't get one, right? Not all characters get full on alt costumes. I'd guess he'd just get some colors.

Obviously, keep both vanilla costumes. For Biker Wario, I'll take yellow, red, and blue; for Classic Wario, white, green, and...red, I guess. I was never very fond of Classic Wario's costumes.

I hope one of Dark Pit's alt colors is Pit and viceversa. And that they play almost exactly the same.
I saw this idea a while back: All of Pit's alternate costumes use his brown hair and light-colored wings, while all of Dark Pit's alternate costumes use his black hair and black wings.
That being said, I still think Dark Pit is an awful addition.
I still think he looked best at 42 :3

That's the ideal, yes. Unfortunately, nobody with any creative control on the series seems to agree.

Ah, yeah, I was deciding it based on the obvious vanilla choice. So it's really choosing three.
And hey, that's supposed to complement Mario!
We've already seen the tinted wings from Brawl make an appearance, so that doesn't seem to be happening.
Though I wouldn't mind Dark Pit's addition quite as much if it meant getting some Dark Fighter armour as an alt.

Won't happen. Sakurai hates anything Wario-related that isn't from WarioWare, remember?
Rob and (probably) Greninja have unique movesets
Curious as to what everyone's 8 alt colors are going to be. I can see Lucina's alts taking from a lot of Awakening's female cast, but i'd like some older characters to be represented as well, like Nephenee, Lyn, and Sheeda.
I forsee Robin's alts including stuff like Soren and Erk, as well as other popular mage characters. I could also see a Micaiah color scheme too.
Ike's already had a few past FE characters, but something like Owain and Lonqu would be neat, but there's older mercenaries he can pull from too. A black Knight color scheme (black with red cape) could be pretty cool!
Shulk has his entire party to represent, at least their default outfits.

Just heard the new music on the site and it is glorious! I'm still hoping for some badass Fire Emblem mixes, but I'll gladly take a Star Fox one as I wait.
I know this is like the go to reasoning for every weird character inclusion, be apparently Dark Pit was popular choice in Japan. Though, yes, him making Uprising definitely didn't hurt Dark Pit's chances.

Alternatively, they had a unique moveset from Brawl going to waste and a completed Pit model, and decided to combine the two because time was running out.
Why would you hope for this?

We are at this point now.
Don't give Sakurai any ideas, or Wolf DLC will be scrapped for "Green Eyes Pit" as a character.

For the classic, the brown (GB maybe?) one and the GBC/WL2+3/Captain Wario color aka the white one.
The StarFox one is great. My brother instantly recognised it and he's not a gamer as such.
I love Wrath of the Reset Bomb, sounds great.

I don't know, Mario's colors just don't look as good on Wario as Wario's do on Mario. I chose it precisely because it complements Mario, but I'm still not a big fan. At least it's slightly better than the sepia one and that baby blue and pink one ("Easter Wario," I always called it,) which would look better on almost any character other than Wario.

Yeah, I dunno. I'm trying really hard to like Wrath of the Reset Bomb, but the instrumentation is really weak. Koshiro did a better job with the Pokémon one, I feel. The part at the end sound nice, though. Save us, Magnus's Theme!
And I really like the Star Fox one.
