This is disapointing news.In 3D World, Rosalina had a ponytail just like Peach when she used the fire flower
However in Smash, even tho her fire flower suit is an alt costume, she kept her original hairstyle
So I assume the same will apply to Peach, so no ponytail.

Only problem is that isn't Fire Rosalina from 3D World. In 3D World, it's basically a Santa Costume, red with white trims.

Probably just because the game is balanced with the default movesets in mind.
Although yeah I don't see why there couldn't be an option within the mode to have customization on/off.
He does look very nice next to the rest of the cast.
Sweet, now if I can use my Amiibo to scan in my custom moveset for Samus at the character select screen everything will be perfect.

I imagine that's part of what the Amiibos are for to begin with.
I'm pretty sure the dress is a part of several of her hotboxes, like her down smash, so a dress-less wouldn't work without significantly changing the character.

That's not even fire Rosalina.
They added a swirling wind affect to more accurately show the hitbox for that.
Don't think her dress is involved in anything else.

There's another one with an AKB48 Member as well, but this version that was aired before the game came out spoiled the shit out of the game for anyone that eventually ended up playing it. DO NOT WATCH UNLESS YOU'VE PLAYED XENOBLADE BEFORE!

Some people think that nowadays characters must go up in the rankings before getting big roles in the main Mario games (starting in spin offs or very minor roles before getting promoted to larger roles in later games ), even though that never happened with any character. So, those people are annoyed by Nintendo pushing Rosalina as a main Mario character out of nowhere.
D-Pad is always for taunts in Smash games and they have never let you map the D-Pad to movement on anything other than the single Wiimote for Brawl.

Yes but Seismic Toss being a signature move of Charizard is very much an anime thing.

The Pokémon characters in Smash are based on their anime counterparts, after all. Ivysaur and Greninja (until Froakie evolves) being the exceptions.
