lol at people complaining at the design of the character select screen. There is like what, 40+ characters to fit on a small top screen? Not much room for other things if you want characters to be recognizable.

He only teased that Ridley would be a stage boss. It's not his fault Smash fans were in denial and looked for a hidden message in everything.

Dr. Mario comes from the Good Timeline where he doesn't need to find the princesses...they come to him because he's obviously making more money as a doctor than some broke assed plumber...

Dr. Mario, Dark Pit, Lucas and Alph could all be alts. Mario is Mario, so they could have changed his fireballs to pills for the Dr. Mario alt and could have been the only character to do this. No one would have batted an eye because Mario, and I'd be okay with that.

Having them as separate characters while Mewtwo gets the shaft though? Cruel and unjust. I expect no more than 5 years of community-allowed trolling upon Sakurai and his team before the next Smash cycle begins.

Maybe Japan got the demo so late because it wasn't ready until recently? Maybe we'll get it this month because of this maybe fact I'm maybe putting forth?

Can we stop with the "3DS was the first version therefore any complaints about it existing are invalid" business?

To me it sounds like they made the choice to go dual consoles before planning even really began; they just considered only doing a 3DS version and decided against it almost immediately.

Yeah. There is no way that a home console Smash Bros version wasn't being considered when Wii U was being conceived.

I'm upset about the cuts (especially Wolf) but aside from that the roster is just about everything I could've realistically hoped for.
