Fuck off, Rockstar, always with the same PC bullshit. And all so the game is terribly optimized, as always.

Max payne 3 was a good port, the PC version got delayed as usual but the game itself was really well optimized.

I think the atmosphere has changed a bit, GTA IV caliber ports just wont cut it anymore, and I dont think they would want to tarnish V's pristine reputation by half assing a late PC port.

There's a lot of variables when developing for PC, with the amount of different hardware configurations. I can understand a delay if they want to get it running well, and optimised for the largest amount of people.

Yeah it's much more newcomer friendly, they've done stuff like changing the colours of your dots on the map so if you see a white dot it means that player is probably OK if you see a red dot coming on the map unless you want to kill them escape.

I think I may treat this the same way I did Last of Us, and get it again to try out the multiplayer, which I never got to last gen, but end up playing the game all the way through again.

But the multiplayer looks super dumb and ridiculous, so I really want to give it an honest shot. With the rocky launch for it, I ended focusing so much on the single player and really getting hooked, and just sort of ended up forgetting about it.

Called it. Take2 and rockstar have gone at this with full business mentality. Avoid canibilisation of sales via the PC and maximise the console sales. Inevitably a fair few will end up getting both. I'm perfectly fine waiting anyway
