So how much do you guys think Smash 3DS sold in Japan? I feel like if it sold over 1 million Nintendo would have said it already.

Lucina's palettes are all really well done. Though when I see them, I can't help but think of how much better the Roy, Viridi, Medusa and Greil colours would look if they changed the character's hair as well.

Shouldn't that have been listed on the sound test? I don't think people would have found that Toda did that arrangement of the Melee theme and Shimomura handled one of the Magicant tracks any other way.

Just entered thread, does the game have challenge stages similar to the challenges mode of Melee or Brawl? I loved those! Completed everything in Melee, including every trophy unlock, but never put nearly as much time into Brawl.

You're thinking of events, and no, it does not. It has the achievement style board that brawl had.

We're hoping Wii U has events, but who knows.

Yes. Hard Knuckle has a meteor effect. pretty hard to land but can be an easy kill against foes with moderate to bad uairs. Tried it against Mario and Link around 40-50% damage and it sent them low enough to prevent them from grabbing the ledge.

Sorry if this has been asked often (or if its in the OT but its hard to navigate without crtl+f )but does this game support screenshot taking and the nintendo exporting to twitter/tumblr site like animal crossing?

  • Neutral Special (Paralyzer) - fires a paralyzing shot, charge to increase power and range
  • Custom Neutral 1 (Blaster Shot) - range and speed increase, but power decreases and loses paralyzing effect
  • Custom Neutral 2 (Spreading Paralyzer) - shot explodes in front of ZSS like a flare, travels a short distance, but hits a wide range
  • Side Special (Plasma Whip) - brandishes the whip built into her gun, latches onto ledges
  • Custom Side 1 (?)
  • Custom Side 2 (Snare Whip) - ensnares opponent and draws them in, does not connect if you are too close to the opponent
  • Up Special (Boost Kick) - uses her rocket heels to jump high, performs a multi-hit kick followed by a spinning finisher
  • Custom Up 1 (Impact Kick) - launches opponents skyward with a jump kick, spinning finisher is extremely powerful
  • Custom Up 2 (Slide Booster) - lowers the boost on her heels and performs a low jump kick, uses extra strength to boost forward
  • Down Special (Flip Kick) - flips through the air and drives opponents into the ground, press the button while airborne to perform a powerful kick

Just based on watching streams Little Mac looks super fun to play. From the demo my favorite is Villager, I can't wait until my copy arrives so I can try everyone.

Way too early to say anyone is top, especially with custom moves barely tapped by the community.

I've stopped myself from playing more of the demo. I don't think my iPhone 6 will be enough of a distraction for the next 17 days :(

Haven't heard anything yet, probably because it's technically "secret" and won't be publicly discussed for a little while. She mentioned receiving a signed copy of the game from Sakurai backstage at Press Start, though, so I told her they should perform Magicant with the orchestra next time. :)

Dunno about Pac-Man, but Mac is really fun. Sadly, his recovery truly is awful, and he doesn't have a lot of viable options while airborne. That said, he really tears it up on the ground!

Also, speaking of Mac: countering Shulk's FSmash is hard because you have to counter the first stab or else it won't connect. (The blue extend-o-sword is out of range.)

Anyone know why certain characters have more... equip points on smash run than others?

ZSS has 23 points for me, whereas zelda only has 22. Why?
