Warlock is the final map in Halo: MCC - IGN First

Hold on to your butts.

I'll be honest. Would have preferred Waterworks.

But it'll be nice to play king and oddball on no doubt.

I... what? What does this have anything to do with Halo 5?

The design decisions 343 are making.

Look at all the jump-ups they added to Warlord. God-awful.

Not to mention, they brought back a HALO CE MAP, instead of taking a chance with something epic like Waterworks or Terminal.

They just really are driving the Halo series into the grave. Feels terrible.

Are you trolling or really that clueless?

NY3?

I'm more or less just disappointed in a mere 5 maps. As much effort as it must have taken to create this anniversary mode for MP, I would have expected all of the Halo 2 base maps to be in.

And I'm well aware the original Halo 2 MP is in, it will just be a let down to have to jump between such visually superior games in order to play on such superior maps.

Headlong, Sanctuary, Terminal, Waterworks, Midship, Turf, Collosus.

Can you explain this? They're driving the series into the grave because they didn't remake your favorite maps?

On topic: I'm not very familiar with Warlock so it's great to have something new for me in the collection. Regardless, they are already remaking 4 of my favorite maps so I'll be happy anyway.

And Halo 5 Midship :)

Or you can play the superior game on inferior looking maps.

It looks so awesome.

I love all the smoke and leaves blowing around, I hope halo 5 has a lot of misc effects going on with it's maps.

Sentinel beam return is good, it's the (quake 3) lightning gun of halo and always cool to see and use.

While I'm still incredibly excited about everything and the map looks great, I'm definitely bummed they chose a map that's so easy to recreate in Forge (and has been recreated many many times) to redo when elaborate maps like Terminal and Waterworks were begging for an update. Oh well, can still play on all the original maps.

I will. I'm going to spend the well over 75% of my time on the original Halo CE and Halo 2 multiplayer. It just seems odd that they even bothered with anniversary MP. They could have just put forth all of that effort into a graphical layover on all of the Halo 2 maps.

I'm not trying to bitch. I'm still hyped through the goddamn roof for MCC. I'm buying an Xbox One just for this collection.

So because they didn't redesign the maps YOU wanted, they're driving it into the ground? Get a grip. If anything they're bringing Halo BACK.

They're bringing back the most boring, safest choice possible.

They're playing it safe. So lame.

Again, this is my opinion. They are remaking a series of games that they had zero involvement with, and then crafting it as their own.

Their design choices and additions to these maps are a foreshadowing of what Halo 5 will be like, and that outlook is bleak.

I cringed so hard at the jump-up to the flag. So idiotic. They want to make the game more accessible, by ruining the competitive nature of the map.

And yes, Coag is a cop-out, and so is Warlock.

The guy who designed these maps at Bungie is working at Certain Affinity and guess who is doing this work.

Well, I'd like to have seen maps that haven't been remade.

Terminal, Waterworks, Collossus, Relic.

But we get nothing but remakes of remakes. Zanzibar, Coag, Sanctuary... ugh.
