So is it just me that thinks Palutena's default moveset is utter garbage. In terms of specials at least. Autoreticule is absolutely dire in 1v1.
Autoreticle is probably Palutena's best projectile option. Just don't think of it like a way to rack up ranged damage or anything, but a way to harass your opponent from mid-range. It tracks, so you have to force your opponent to react to it and you can use it to interrupt an approach. It's particularly useful against Little Mac.

Her default movement isn't particularly good, though. The set-up strikes me as reasonably useful against characters like Samus or even Robin who's heavily reliant on their projectiles to create approach opportunities, but for anything else, it's pretty bad and denies Palutena her mobility.

Super Smash Bros. for 3DS |OT3| "What's your favorite Smash, son? Mine's chocolate!"

Hitlers and dick faces everywhere.

This is a thing? I rarely encounter any Mii's (either in Mario Kart 8 Matchmaking or Tomodochi Life StreetPass) that are recreations of infamous dictators or human genitalia.

Well I never ran into a hitler or dick face in MK8 and that forces Miis to show up in the lobby (granted, it's the NNID Mii but Smash could do the same). Any reason Nintendo has for not letting Miis online are bullshit.

OK, so messing around with the new tech. The perfect pivot is pretty much a more restrictive (harder?) waveslide. You have to be on the ground, and it has to be at the start of some sort of dash. Other than that, it looks like it can hold some of the same benefits.

Workin on getting a little bit more range on my smashes with the tech.

So I've been playing ROB almost exclusively now for the past 5 days or so. I haven't played Brawl in a long long time so certain differences might be too subtle for me to remember. The differences I do know though:

1. Fsmash is godly now! It's got awesome range and comes out faster. The graphic is slightly misleading; it won't hit at the very tip of the laser's flare, but it still covers quite a distance, and it can be aimed up and down (and the angle makes a difference!). I definitely feel it is easier to connect with fsmash now.

2. Uair has a last hit which sends people FLYING. It is quite awesome and I'm surprised at the percentages at which i'm able to kill people with it.

3. Usmash is much easier to hit with in Sm4sh than in Brawl. The little nudge that pushes grounded enemies into the main hit box helps, and I think the main hit box is also bigger.

4. Bair seems to have a bigger hit box now? Or at least I can actually hit people with it a little outside of the fire graphic.

5. Dsmash has always been really good, it somehow seems better in Sm4sh.

6. Fully charged laser has a different graphic to differentiate it from regular laser, which is nice. I think the laser used to pierce through multiple targets in Brawl, but I think only the fully charged laser pierces in Sm4sh.

7. I think Dair comes out a little faster now. At least I'm hitting more often with it in Sm4sh than I am in Brawl.

8. The only nerfs I really noticed were on his nair, ftilt and utilt. Nair seems to do less damage, but it still covers a decent area (the small delay ROB has before doing the move and ROB spinning quickly makes the hit box somewhat ambiguous). Ftilt has shorter range, but ftilt was pretty stupid good already. Utilt seems to have less range, or at least I could hit with it more consistently in Brawl than in Sm4sh.

Overall I think ROB has been given a net improvement going from Brawl to Sm4sh. I mainly play a very suicidal ROB that plays too closely with others, likes being in the air too much and isn't quite as campy, but the changes have helped me quite a bit!

My only problem with Mac is that I can't freaking read a smash attack, shield and grab because his forward smash pushes me out of grab range.

Get him off stage though and he's mine.

Super Smash Bros. for 3DS |OT3| Little Stole My Win
Needs jogging music for it to fit

Anyways as an experiment, I tested to see if leaving the game in Smash mode for 10 hours would work. Nintendo was smart and only recorded time spent in fights. Damn you Nintendo...

Those saying that Marth sucks now are crazy :lol.

Yeah, he's not as ridiculous as he used to be, but oh my fucking lord at those sweet spots.

I saw it literally the day it went up and instantly got 3000% more hype for the Wii U version. I don't want to break this 3DS before I unlock all these customs and have them unlock on the Wii U version.
