Add me, Marf-bro. I've had you in my FC list for a bit but hadn't reached out to you before.

Poor Mother kids and their perfectly shaped basketball like heads. Marth just wants to play ball. :)

Haha, I don't think it's that bad. There's a lot going on under the hood between system mechanics and character changes to make even the most adaptive types be wary of Marth-4. I think he's still going to be great, especially when people start doing more of the new ground stuff regularly. His buttons only have a light range nerf (and a extremely frustrating "not tipper" tip trail on his swings), they still function the same way they did in Brawl beyond that.

The air stuff is the strangest thing about him now.

Sure thing! Send me that code. I stopped using Marth though. I picked up Ike and Puff in his absence... I just don't have fun with Marth anymore and it kills me inside

I screwed up my circle pad by doing homerun contest over and over. It's still connected and works but I can definitely feel something broken inside :( bummed out.

Circle paf finalle fell in battle.

Actually it is still on he 3ds, but doesn't seem to react like before when I make input to the rights, what would be a tap to dads, only makes the character walk now. Righy side smashes come off as tilts now.

On the select character screen when I tap diagonally up to the left it will continue sliding the cursor/hand after I let go off the button, same when done to the right.

rip. send to Nintendo?

I love how the people that were complaining about the lack of AT in the game are now complaining that they are more difficult to input. Lol, competitive fighting game community my ass

Thing is, in the two cases in that thread, I agree with JediLink and disagree with that other person. I'm glad practical dash dances exist but it is really weird to see it locked behind such a strange new execution barrier whereas before it was a uniform "go left then go right, that's it" that fell in line with the series' emphasis on easily understood movement options. On the other hand, the guy arguing that something being technically demanding or challenging = a better/more hardcore game is making a fallacious statement especially when arguing for a more specific and harder to do technique in comparison to what was previously possible.

"Competitives" don't care about hyper technicality specifically so much as they want a game that allows them freedom to do enough with elegant design solutions supporting this venture.

Is that your excuse to not playing against me? :p

It's really annoying when I'm finally getting the handle on fighting DK online and then the game decides that no, I only have one jump, not two! Why would I ever have two jumps? That doesn't make any sense!

Yeah, I can't quite put my finger on it, but at times I feel like I get one less input on my way back down. Like I can't do a down smash to try to make my descent faster or a counter if I see an attack midair, really frustrating :/

I really hate fighting Dedede online. I got KO'd at 0% using villager because I got hit by a Gordo that had been propelled forward by another Gordo. Is this normal or some kind or glitch?

I've been playing a lot of Greninja lately as I wrap my head around Marth. He just feels like a joy to play and appeals to me in the same ways Marth does in the other Smash titles. Fast, lots of momentum, great spacing tools (including a nice fair as well), and a wonderful dair spike (although there's quite a bit of positioning to getting it perfectly).

I had a string of incredible, evenly matched fights with someone who goes by the name of "kirby", it was just really refreshing to see someone else that has really good skills with Megaman, and the rest of the matches were pretty exhilarating. I had had maybe 10+ easy pickings beforehand where people SD'd on their second stock due to frustration, so that made my rounds with this guy even better by contrast.

Longshot but...if by any chance you're a gaffer, shoot me a PM bro. Want you on my friends list.

Love this game, can't wait for the U version.
