Played the original on the Xbox but I rather have the next-gen one on my PS4. Not sure which console to go for since my 360 data won't transfer to my PS4.
Either way I am excited.
im pretty sure you an transfer to any ng console you want.

It will transfer from your X360 to your PS4....its been confirmed for a while. This future is exclusieve to Playstation
I believe it syncs via Rockstar SC, so it will work.

Well, it's really simple. I like things and if those things see improvements, I like those things even more. I'm not one for replaying games but GTA has never really been about the story, it's about the adventure and free-for-all madness you can create. Doing that with better [everything] is a win.
And I have no idea what "software drought" you are speaking of. Having a PC/DK2, 3DS, Vita, and PS4 ... "drought" isn't a word I'd use.

I think it means they spent 2 hours with the next gen version on the PS4 and will be giving out info about it.
I'm getting the X1 version for less than $20 (unless it's a framerate mess).....or I'd wait for PC too.

now that I actually read those statements... sounds like no. They're going to reveal "everything about their play session" but probably not show anything.
Still, R* usually drops media at the same time as their previews or right around it.
Only your GTA Online stuff transfers, and that includes everything that you bought or acquired in GTA Online. Nothing from GTAV Single player transfers, unless you're talking about pre-order bonuses, etc.
Great news. I've put some serious hours into GTAV but this will be like a brand new game for me if they've really expanded on everything.
The fact they now have cats walking around means this is already great. What I think will add some real awesomeness to things is if you see stray dogs in alleys.

Do what I'm doing. Buy the game for the system, and then sell it when the PC version is out. GTA V has been doing well in holding the resell value.

You can only transfer your GTA online character. Not your single player save file. This is for both 360/X1/Ps3/PS4. You can transfer only your GTA Online character/world. Single player is a new game, blank slate, as if you went to "Game -> New" on the 360.

I feel the same way. To get me truly excited, I'd want to see the new single player DLC they mentioned a year ago and seemed to have forgotten.

I feel like they are only going to *talk* about their 2 hours with the game, not reveal anything new. I'm just hoping Rockstar releases some new media tomorrow, which they usually do when they allow press to talk about experiences.
