PTMYL thread is like a prison, but now I have a job so I tend to spend the free time I have playing games like Elliot Quest, it's a good homage to Zelda 2 and while it has flaws I can't stop playing it, so far I'm 8 hours into it and I think I'm near the middle of the game.

A thank you to derExperte for recommending me to play Amnesia: Machine for pigs.
I didn't have a positive view on the game before I played it because I was assuming that it wasn't going to be as good as the original. Boy, was I wrong. I actually prefer this game over the first one! I don't know the reception it gets here on GAF but damn this shit had me shook. haha There were times where I just had to take a small break from the game because it got so damn intense at times. They did a great job with the atmosphere which has a Lovecraftian feel to it. Story isn't anything new and you can tell they were inspired by other games like
, but it was pulled off really well.

I think there might be some kind of weird Steam exploit floating around right now? I got spam messages from two unrelated people within a minute of each other on Steam, people I've known elsewhere and been Steam friends with for a few years, both saying the same thing with a suspicious google drive link at the end. I'm not insane enough to click it. Has anyone else been getting that today?
I considered their accounts had been phished, but honestly it seems impossible to have a Steam account that isn't locked down by now.

I just got this today (had it on my wishlist so the sale helped me make the decision). I went through the opening area/tutorial and had a pretty smooth experience with everything maxed out at 1080p. The only hiccups I had were in the cutscene where the guy is explaining what's going on. Other than that I didn't notice any problems. I have an i5-4690K/R9 290X (with the newest "Omega" driver) setup.

i tried playing more dragon age but honestly ozammar just completely drained me today. that shit was so boring and time consuming. so instead i was curious and i googled returning characters in the latest dragon age. son, why doesn't my boy the warden show up but everyone and their mother comes back? that really upsets me. like he don't need to talk or anything but even a cutscene cameo where you see him in the distance or some shit would be much appreciated.

This, Prison Architect, and The Forest are the only Early Access games I would have no reservations backing. So from what Im seeing, the incentive of early access is getting the game early AND at a cheaper price than what the finished copy would be?
