It appears twice in my library. When I click the second copy, it goes to a link so I can redeem it, which of course tells me my Steam account already owns it.
I'm asking if there's a way to generate or copy a link that I can share with another person so they can link the game to their account.

Ah, I'd forgotten that Humble finally got around to moving store purchases to the OpenAuth system. If there's no gift link button then you're out of luck and will have to ask for a refund.
Edit: If the other person is someone you trust you can try giving them your login info so they can temporarily link their Steam account.

That's a very nice giveaway!
Im not 100% certain but you might give the link to someone and they can activate it. Not sure if this is actually possible. If it isnt, the only way you can give it to someone else is by doing the following :unlink your steam account from your humble account, have your friend link theirs and redeem the game then unlink their account.

won't happen. Winter sale is too big. Especially since there will probably have a meta-game.
I think that worked surprisingly well. The Autumn Sale thread moved at a relatively glacial pace as all of the usual off-topic banter remained in this thread, which kept the discussion in the former centred around deals and what to buy. I also think that if there's another team-oriented meta-game it should get its own thread also as the Summer Sale threads were utterly unbearable at times with all of the "OMG PURPLE THIS!" and "OMG RED THAT!" posts. I'd rate it as even worse than August's "alpacapocalypse".
