P&D is a good game that's kind of strangled by FtP trappings.

F2P timers can be good or bad depending on how it is programmed. Some games like Tiny Tower have it scaled right, P&D is bogged down a bit, and then you got Dungeon Keeper which is probably the worst timer I have ever seen.

I agree though, it is annoying you cannot consistently play. If this version gets rid of the timer, it will be a fun purchase.

Did you enjoy the Puzzle League series? This plans like this game except you can move diagonally as well.

I mean mobile developers. iOS is generally where the priority states for them, so that is why I said it. Android is generally second thought (SE still not ported FFT to it yet -_-)

As mentioned by others, Captain Toad: Monument Valley Tracker ("Rrrrrready for geometry!"), Pokémon Strike and Terra Emblem would be good.

I'm guessing this is more what PDZ's western localization evolved into. I figured Nintendo would be involved in overseas publishing anyway given Iwata's comments on the game.

Man if this strips away the stamina and mandatory online connection stuff, this is actually awesome. P&D is a good game that's kind of strangled by FtP trappings.

P&D decreased the timer for stamina a few months back which made it a lot better I thought. Then again, I like the stamina because it keeps me from playing all damn day at work. At the same time, I'm in the 100s for level so it doesn't make as big a difference to me as someone who has to blow all their stamina for one run at dragons.

I never play puzzle and dragon, this seem to be a fun game to pass some time.

It blows me away to say this, but P&D is by far and away my most played game of 2014. I've been going for over 300 days and still loving every minute. As I get to be busier and don't always have time to sit down for an hour and play a console game, I've found P&D to be awesome for bite sized gaming sessions - which are much easier to fit in.

I'll buy this day one and love it.

It's a fairly decent game, if not the most imaginative or ground-breaking, that has earned its developer over $3.11 billion in the last 2 years. One could criticize it's devious freemium mechanics for that, but the core gameplay is pretty solid.

If that's mediocre to you, I have no idea what world you live in. You might not like the gameplay or aesthetic, but calling it mediocre is just lazy antagonism.

No. The game mechanics of PazuDora are very good and is one of the most popular mobile games (at least in Japan)

Also all the other crossover with Nintendo has been very good and very well received, Pokemon Conquest and Hyrule Warriors from Tecmo-Koei come to my mind.
