"Wait, what?" Misheard things/gibberish heard in games

I'm extremely insecure with how much f2p mobile games are encroaching on Nintendo
During a time before games had bloated budgets that allowed for new things to come about such as clear, professional sounding voice acting...we've all played games that had sound clips. Despite what the game/instruction manual tells you...some character's attack shouts and even in game miscellaneous voice clips have often left us with "what did he say? What is he even saying???" Post our misheard voices and gibberish here.

My offerings:
Streets of Rage 2
When fighting those ninjas that look like the classic version of Cyclops from X-Men (they can be first found on the Pirate Ship section of the Amusement Park stage), they do this sliding maneuver and it sounds like they're saying "Neepo-cali-boo-sin" ...wth??

King of Fighters 99
When K' performs Blackout, it sounds like "Mmboutaslide" (Which makes sense cause he, well...slides forward) He's actually saying "Blackout" but with a heavy accent. Future games have gotten better with the pronounciation

Street Fighter II
Hurricane Kick sounds like "Tet-sy-set-padookits!!"

King of Fighters Maximum Impact (english voice)
The final boss of the game, Duke, when he does his special where he slams the ground with his fist, sounds like he screams "god DAMMIT!!!!"

Punch Out!! (Wii)
Soda Popinski says "BITCH" when he catches you with an Uppercut. When you get knocked down by Bald Bull, he sounds like he says "I see a nigga standing" Glass Joe says "oh shit" sometimes when you hit him

Some that come to mind but I've heard much more from other games lol

In the original Luigi's Mansion for the Gamecube, the characters all spoke gibberish. But the professor (or whatever his name was) would constantly say "Suck a ducky."

MUTTON! FREEEESH MUTTON!

I swore it was "mushrooms, fresh mushrooms" before I saw it actually typed out in a Xillia thread.

Star Fox thread?

More recently, all of the "dialogue" in Pikmin 3. Brittany: "Churu!"

I have no idea what Odolwa is chanting in Majora's Mask.

But it sounds awesome.

Sounds kind of like "I love it, I love it!" Now why he would say that about swarms of insects is beyond me.

Oh, God, Street Fighter is great with those.

Spinning Bird Kick in SFII = "TING TANG KICK"
Sagat yelling about Fiber all the goddamn time on SNES.
Even in SFIV you have "Jaguar Sleepover!" and Akuma all "I'llgetyoumynumber". XD

Raiden's superman move in any of the Mortal Kombats. Me and my friends just used to yell gibberish.

In Resident Evil 1, Barry's famous "You were almost a Jill sandwich" line is distorted by the voice actor laughing slightly. It sounds like "You were almost a gerbil sandwich" to me, which made no sense.

I think they're saying "Ninpo Kage Bunshin", so you were pretty close.

Speaking of Star Fox, Falco sounds like he says "Oh we be dubbing"

I love that gibberish voice acting. Whenever a Nintendo game tries to do actual voiceovers it sucks, the gibberish is cute, best instance is definitely Animal Crossing though.
I didn't know they WEREN'T speaking english until this thread lol...I just thought it was gibberish cause it didn't sound like Japanese to me
Why wouldn't you assume they were speaking their native languages respective to their incredibly distinct nationalities...? Which... they are.

The game is also Canadian, not Japanese!

The classics:
Gambit's "Credit card" in MvC2.

"So long, gay Bowser!" Mario 64.

Was going to post this. When I played SM64 back in the day, I never once heard it like that. And I beat the game maybe 5+ times, played Bowser over and over. And yet, now, when I watch or play the game, because I've heard the, so long gay Bowser, it's all that I can hear. It's one of those once heard, can't unhear, once seen, can't unsee things.

I remember never ever being able to work out what the hell Marth was saying back in Melee when I was about 10 years old. I didn't know Japanese was a thing back then.

It confused me to no end.

Subliminal messaging in videogames.

I had a bunch were I would be like.. "what did he say?" But since im put on the spot I cant think of any.

The poster had originally quoted the Streets of Rage one I mentioned. He then edited it after I made my response. But yeah in Punch Out I do know they speak their native language but that's what it sounds like to me regardless
