It's in Sonys interest to make a slim quickly so their margins are better over the current model. With them selling so well they certainly would like to see more profit off each console sold with the inevitable price drop we will see at some point.

Actually, that seems perfectly normal to me. You'd be surprised how obvious people are in the real workplace. Have you seen some of the emails from the Sony hack?

That form factor would not work. This is completely fake unless people believe Sony suddenly decided not to have hard drives in their consoles. Which would be stupid and the bigger news. The person who made this fake didn't consider the fact that s/he needs to fit both the Blu-ray drive and the HDD which are standard sizes.

I don't get why you guys find the "CONFIDENTIAL" part so ridiculous.

At my company there are different classifications for information that dictate how it is to be handled and with whom it can be shared. Anything that is confidential would be very clearly labeled as such.

Not saying this is legit but the confidential labeling is very believable. If you were to send out confidential information to some team members within your company, you would make damn sure they understood it was confidential.

Yeah that's totally understandable that private info is labelled that way. But come on, between the grainy ass pictures, heavy focus on the "confidential" text in the design and nonsensical (but pretty) design, we can surmise that this is indeed fake and laughable.

Having worked in big corporations on highly secret stuff for 11 years, I can tell you that

1 - We never labeled file names with the confidentiality level for obvious reasons
2 - 'Confidential Material' and 'CODE' are just LOL as terms, it literally sounds like a kid trying to act official
3 - Renders of secret stuff would have watermarks on top of them identifying the source of leak and the date of the asset
4 - You most certainly would NOT have press quality renders of a new secret product with a disclaimer in the corner
5 - You don't pick code names that describe your product
6 - You NEVER combine code name with the real product name, that's just stupid, think about it

So many fails in this fake, aside from the dumb 'taking pictures of a Mac screen makes it look more real' fail.

The images make it only slightly larger than my external CD drive. Looks more like someone photoshopped off the top half of a PS4 and shrunk it. For a "slim" they should really just improve the internals but leave the case the same to make it much quieter and cooler.
