At least of any open-world game.

Mods can lock if these new screenshots didn't warrant a new thread.

makes me wish I had a decent PC.

real pc gaming is running games at the lowest settings and barely getting 30fps - been gaming like that for over decade now lol

No bald cap? Lies!
There is something very off about those screens. Whatever they did to touch them up makes the look a bit weird.

Not trying to be a party pooper but Unity looks better than TW3 at max settings. Lighting is on another league to begin with. Here it looks sort of... cartoony. Unity tends to be way more realistic on this regard.

The draw distance for the grass/crops is terrible and the entire left side of the first screenshots consists of a hideously tiled texture instead of grain (pretty unforgivable in this day and age)

Vegetation and trees in general look very last gen as do all the assets in the environment and the flat textured ground.

Also look at the area on the right of the bird in the second screenshot, and the awful dof on the tree inthe 7th

The use of color and art style is awesome as usual in witcher games (which combined with good image quality will make the game a lot more pleasant to look at than something technically superior but artistically awful like crysis 3), but on the technical side the graphics are not good.

If you showed me these with no context right after seeing the original reveal trailer I would have asked you if this was on low settings or bullshots of the console version

Graphics look pretty generic honestly. Looks a little better than Witcher 2 but not OMGHOLYSHIZ better. Only real improvement I can see is maybe draw distance and definitely Character models. But I'm sure the gameplay will blow it out of the box and be awesome.

Witcher 2 for comparison:

I'm actually pretty underwhelmed by the "graphics" in these shots. Art direction looks great, IQ looks great (probably downsampled), but it doesn't really scream graphical showcase, unlike the earlier trailers.

The better some things start to look, the worse other things start to look. Seeing the character models look so incredible, then you look at things like hair and ground textures and it's just jarring.

Currently polling second in Australia's federal election (first in the Gold Coast), this feral may one day be your Bogan King.
Love the gorgeous art, still not blown away by the tech, which for awhile now in stills has shown pretty glaring limitations with foliage LOD. Hopefully there's an ini tweak or something to improve it, and doesn't require tedious modding like The Witcher 2.

The first shot somehow reminds me of Kingdome Come: Deliverance. Stunning!

I guess these are PC shots...and taken with a meaty setup. Seems like i need to upgrade after six years (still going with a Geforce GTX 280, an Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 and only 4 gigs of DDR3 Ram...)

Assassin's Creed Unity honestly looks a lot more impressive, especially because the hair on their characters doesn't look like the end of a mop.

Still looks really impressive, and without a doubt will play a lot better than Unity, but still going to have to see it maxed out on PC first.

Have we been told what platform that last footage was from? Still assuming it was Xbox One footage, right?

Skyrim + mods...
Skyrim is also the only game I own that legitimately doesn't work on my computer because of my monitor.

So there's that.

Edit: Actually, I take the Unity thing back. Unity loses a lot of points on visuals because of the crazy low view distance, and how blurry everything gets.

I dont know about that thread title since I suspect these are touched up. However, the art direction and the attention to detail is fuckin mind blowing.

Yeah, it's a bit below what they initially showed us.

It still looks fine though, and I'm still really excited for it.
