This is quite possibly the dumbest post in this thread....and considering this is an Order thread, that's quite a feat.
It has to be a joke/sarcasm post. There's no other explanation.

I think we need a requirement that if you're going to be sarcastic, you've gotta use a sarcasm tag. This is getting out of hand.

to others, it would just expose every aliased edge, muddy texture and iffy piece of geometry. it's like the difference between playing a game on a monitor or a TV with three litres of post processing sloshed over the top. i doubt people would've put up with last gen as long as they did without their TVs sparing their console's blushes.

it would be a nightmare to play any kind of mechanically intricate game like this, but for something like the order where player agency is kept to a bare minimum, you can get away with this kind of cinematic visual obfuscation.

Once again speak for yourself and two, it sounds awfully pretentious of you to assess player agency in the game, unless you've played it. Seldom have I read posts that reek of such holier than thou attitude.

Of course not everything will be to everyone's liking and there most likely will be objective shortcomings with the game much like in all games but the varying degrees of filter application preference is not one of them.

Looks ok i guess....

I mean for a console game it looks great but my PC was capable of these graphics in 2003. Its only logical.

Elite PC stuff like this is the Middle Earth equivalent of the powers of Mordor making elves, dwarves and humans put their differences aside to work together except on gaf its all the console players.

Ladies and gentleman, Order 1886 threads.

Damn people are touchy if they think this is real

It's a battlefield out there son. It's dark from all gray gritty smoke and soot and there are explosions everywhere... There is no way to tell friend from foe with all the brown haze and sandbags lying around the streets also. Who can you trust out there?

What is it with the order threads? A new multiplatform release in evolve gets 15 pages in 2 days for an actual released game for people to chat about. The order screenshot thread gets 25+ pages in just over a day and it ain't even out!

I really wish this forum had one day a year where it allowed anyone to say anything and everything without consequences, because some things said in this thread... man.
Really? Of all the things that you could wish for, you want to post on a forum and get no push back? Here's a thought: say whatever you want and ignore the responses.

Mind blowing, I know.

Especially difficult to see when your vision has been reduced by black bars. Right?

Lord Error

Insane For Sony
I dont see how it is less blurry than for example 900p BF 4 with FXAA or 900p Ryse:

Whole non-scaling resolution and 4x MSAA is diminished by too heavy post-processing.
What's most important, and I'm sure you know that, is that motion aliasing and sub-pixel resolve in this game will be far better than any 900p with FXAA could ever hope for, no matter what it looks like in static screens. That's the thing with the order. It looks stable as hell while in motion, it's in good part what contributes to its movie-cg look. We'll see after all, maybe the game like Uncharted 1/2 will have option switches to enable/disbale various post processing effects once you complete the game.
