Bloodborne launch trailer

I read that spoiler but have never really played much of any souls games so reading that text as well as the other paragraph of spoilers was like gibberish to me.

Still excited to play the game.

Regarding the latest spoiler....

It's pretty much the extent on what I was willing to read up to. Spoilery, but in the most hype inducing manner.

I do have to say that the guy who has the game now hasn't provided evidence to prove the stuff related to the big spoiler. So it's not 100% yet, but he definitely has the game, no denying that.

Super late but here are a few of the same gifs from the off-cam, now from the on-cam, more can be found here (change addresses to .gif, they're all just under 3MB except for the 2 at the end, which are 4MB).

And since people have started posting actual real live spoilers, I bid you adieu NeoGAF. Farewell, Twitter. Until we meet again, Facebook. Sayonara, Internet.

I have my monhu, my pokemon, my majora, I don't need you.

I will see you on the other side.

Not reading the spoiler but goddam if peoples reactions arent making me hyped as fuck! I gotta hold 10 days i dont know if i can do it!

This is really OT, but before this game comes out, for a new player... What's the best class?

There aren't any classes, at least not in the traditional since. Instead you select a description that describes your characters upbringing, and that'll determine which type of stats you'll start off with. So you can select an upbringing that'll give you average starting stats across the board, an upbringing that'll reflects a very combat focused approach, or go with something like Waste of Skin which gives you bad stats for everything.

I thought there was a class selection? Like one guy starts with that cleaver, other guy with a hammer, another guy with two daggers? I may be totally wrong, have not followed this game at all.

So will this be a spoiler thread now? Because then I'll stay away from everything until launch, which would be sad since I like the talk.

Eh, I really doubt there is a "best class" for this game. The variables are too dependent on what works for you in particular. Plus there really aren't any classes in Souls game. Only starter archetypes that you can later develop to any direction you desire, and it seems Bloodborne is even more ambiguous in this regard, as the starting stats and weapons are no longer linked.

Origin determines stats and then you pick whatever weapon you fancy from the starter weapons. Weapon wise, and based on what I've seen and tried myself, The Axe/halberd or the Sawblade are the most balanced starter weapons, but that is just my view on it. Someone else might say something completely different.

Very minor spoilers that answer your question - like first 10 minutes:
Near the start of the game, you can pick between a Saw Cleaver, Hunter's Axe, and Threaded Cane (whip/sword) for your right hand weapon, and a Pistol or Blunderbuss for your left hand weapon. To my knowledge, this selection is not affected by class. For a newcomer, I would pick the Cleaver (one handed in both modes so you can always parry with a gunshot) and the Pistol (effective against a certain boss).

It's too early to have a thread just for a little info. Tread carefully for a couple of days. Will create a dedicated spoiler thread next week. I'm guessing twitch streams and youtube videos would start surfacing by then.

That was just for demos. The game basically seems to let you mold your character into whatever you want them to be instead of putting you in a specific mold.
