An in-engine trailer, no matter how good it looks, that might as well be CG doesn't work for me.

I'm with you. Even if they're in engine, stuff that's not gameplay does nothing for me. I know gameplay stuff isn't always the best to hype the general public on something and it's not as flashy as some snazzy camera angles and all that but I never really get hyped from those kinds of trailers

You might want to see a doctor about that. I didn't find UC4 demo visually impressive at all, although I didn't like the Uncharted games they were certainly stunners on the PS3. I was expecting a whole lot more from ND with UC4 but going to reserve full judgment until we see something from the game again, maybe as soon as E3. UC4 seems to be suffering from ND not being able to make their mind up regarding if they want to go 30fps or 60fps.

If UC4 is 60fps then the demo fidelity is fine, if they end up going 30fps I think the game will see a pretty big jump compared to what we saw at PSX. The poster simply said he thought what we saw of battlefront was better than UC4, I'm assuming he's seen the PSX demo and nothing more recent so yeah, that was graphically pretty meh.

Battlefront on PS4 looking better than UC4 with the difference in environment sizes? Bollocks

Yea this. It's a great looking game, but ND painted themselves into a corner with the hype they generated after the first trailer. That along with the 1080p 60fps talk, didn't help them either.

I'll like them either way if they're good game, but you're right that the TPS is one of its distinguishing features (and frankly the auto aim that turned you into a god against AI was another.)
