I'm interested in this. More first party titles basically guarantees we see Rare's new game this year, along with gameplay for stuff like Crackdown.

Dat new IP though... Wonder what studio they're working on it with? In house, or contracted from a third party?

That's good to hear. I've always disliked how they had 15-20 minutes of their conference dedicated to stuff like Call of Duty, Assassin's Creed and other third party titles. I'm sure we'll still get some of that stuff but when I watch the conference I want to see what Microsoft is working and focusing on, not what Activision or Ubisoft are doing.

You know how I read that tweet? Phil is dropping the indie parity clause and recruiting additional indie devs for some XBox indie exclusives. I think they saw how much success Sony saw being indie friendly and are gonna try and make amends.
