TBH the last true hype E3 was probably 2009. Kind of hoping for a repeat of that this year with Uncharted 4 and whatnot.

E3 will be boring. No new stuff, all remakes. Don't watch. Especially not on our homepage.
But hey, PSX was really great..
Woosh, in blink of an eye your whole life is over, and the question remains, who would really care what happend at E3 2015.

I agree with the majority of this. I would switch out God of War reveal with either the Bend title or Guerilla title however. We will also most likely get trailers for Until Dawn, Tearaway, Gravity Rush 2 and Ratchet. Most likely in a back to back fashion.
I would like to see more from EA however. They most likely will have actual videos of their concepts from last year.

ME4, Battlefront, Sports, Criterions new IP, Mirrors Edge, maybe teasing BF5 and Plants vs Zombies 2

PSX was indeed great, but people overhyped it based on super-generic comments like "Wow at what I've just seen. The show will be aaaawwweeesome." from all sorts of people on Twitter. It happens every time, and it is nothing special.
We hype conferences because it is fun, not because of evidence.

To be fair the biggest surprise - Street Fighter 5 exclusive to PS4/PC - was leaked. If it hadn't been then the hype would have been justified in that sense.

Used to be wishful thinking, but now those jackasses in the Mario Kart 8 DLC thread got me thinking. I think it could really happen.
Real wishful thinking is if they get Robot Chicken to animate their E3 presentation again, because that was genuinely hilarious what they had going on.

I hope people DO get a new F- Zero game AND a new Metroid just so we can move on to other games... like Mother or more new IP's from Nintendo. Just my personal wish.

It'd be great if EA/Ubi's conferences were at the very least tolerable this year. Last year it was just Sony/MS for conferences and thats it. Nintendo did their own thing with direct/treehouse. Ubisoft's wasn't that good. EA's was the absolute worst conference I've ever watched. Beyond abysmal.
I'd love to actually get good entertaining conferences from all of Sony/MS/EA/Ubi this year. Plus now we get Bethesda as well.
Also do I remember incorrectly or is Nintendo actually having a formal conference this year? I thought I saw that somewhere.

I think this year EA should have a lot of actual games to show.
Battlefront will have a present at their show even if the gameplay debut will be at Sony.
This is clearly going to be Mass Effect 4's year.
Dragon Age will get more DLC announced.
Need for Speed will probably be there.
Then there will be the EA sports block. EA UFC 2 will probably get shown.
I bet they announce another Star Wars thing just because it seems weird they only have 1 game revealed with the licence so far.
And yeah. Maybe Mirrors Edge is a game now.
EA has stuff to show now.

EA's conference last year was unbelievably terrible. Like, I literally could not believe it was as bad as it was. The worst conference I've ever seen.

Casting my mind back, it is pretty shocking that a conference that lasted as long as it did (2+ hours?) managed to have absolutely nothing of note feature during its entire running time. It's actually quite a spectacular feat in its own backward way.
It truly was a dreadful showing. I'd avoid EA this year as a result, but y'know... Mirror's Edge 2.

yup, its ok when someone teases sth.
Leaks are bound to happen. Nintendo isn't even safe from content being leaked before their event. I try to avoid them so I can enjoy E3 without tampered expectations.

I hope the leaks posts on GAF will not contain the (full) names of games and any spoilers. Can we agree to do this from now, please? Just title them "E3 leak, Sony action game" or something alike. I don't want to have to stay out of GAF completely in that last stretch, just the posts with leaks in them.

Yea, I would enjoyed watching the conferences without anything spoiled this year. Leaks are fun, but I've come to feel they make the actual announcements less exciting.

It was about this time last year that Nintendo did their Mega64 video announcing everything, right? Wouldn't be surprised if we heard about their plans in the next couple of days.
Funniest part about that leak is Capcom's the one who spoiled it. They made their YouTube video public the day before.

That's the definition of a leak. It's like knowing in advance what's there for christmas.
Leaks will happen, false leaks will happen. But fortunately the guys and girls here that know the most also know how to keep their mouth shut or talk in riddles.
I think we will see the new Need for Speed.
I don't think they will talk about Battlefield, they will mostly focus on Battlefront.
However... Titanfall 2? Or is it too early?
Will think up some list of predictions later, but here's one:
No Zelda at E3 turns out to be (partially) untrue. The game will not be playable, and there will not be any substantial story/gameplay trailer, but there will be a brief teaser revealing a key feature of the game as well as hinting at something "discuss-worthy" (ala "Link is a girl!", except something more deliberate and that actually amounts to anything).
There will also be concept art of a few different areas of the world, as proof of the great variety of environments the game has in store. It is however stated that the game's release is still quite a way away, and as such they are not ready to show any more of these areas. They confirm a 2016 timeframe.
