And yeah, need to train again and again. After watching some replays, I've seen that my current main problems are not blocking/holding the high strikes as well as having a lot of trouble escaping big combos against really good opponents (when I'm staggered basically)...

Playing so much of MKX is messing with my head while playing DOA they are so different that it takes me awhile to adjust back to a DOA mindset. I need to practice my marie...I feel like the only char I can remotely play well is Rachel.

Thought that your Christie was pretty good last week. But yeah, you're really good with Rachel right now.

Got most of my previously bought costumes carried over onto PS4 but one shows up as "unavailable" in the store. Has that been addressed?

For those interested, DOA5+ is at 4€ (ps+ users) this week on the EU PSN.
It's a good port, but they dropped support a long time ago (released before Ultimate). Still a great price if you want some DOA on the go.

Ah, never tried online when I played it a year ago.
Dimensions is still one of my favorite DOA games (probably unlike many people here), always a good recommendation.

Finally convinced my Landlord to update the internet in our building so I don't have strict NAT type anymore. 1.5 years of strict NAT was terrible for me playing multiplayer games.

I think during the week your lobbies start a little to early for me.

In terms of netcode yeah, it can be rough. You can practice a combo all day and be extremely confident in execution and a lot of times it won't come out in online play even if you can expertly do it 9/10 in offline play.

In DOA I at least feel like if I lost it was because I either was outplayed or made mistakes. In MKX it often feels like I lost because hey my combo didnt' come out and now im extremely exposed.

I guess I should try it again. Launch was AWFUL and getting the 100 matches played done was like pulling teeth. Matchmaking took 10+ minutes to find one match, despite having cross-play enabled.

Yes, well online lag is bad but atleast it has people playing so it doesn't take forever to find a match like DOA5LR. Then again I'm the only person NOT playing Scorpion so I'm back to this game for a bit.

EDIT: I'm upgrading my Nvidia drivers. Let's hope it helps and let's hope it doesn't break Mortal Kombat X.
