Well yeah if it somehow came with QB then fair enough, other than that I think it would only serve to distract from their main new game, one which I'm sure has cost them a fair amount and they need to see a return on.

As always, I could be wrong!

Who knows, maybe a summer release for Alan Wake remake, includes a demo of QB. A man can dream.

Its not like its the same franchise, its a different one, so I don't see how it could distract from anything?

If they were porting Quantum Break 1 to release a few months before Quantum Break 2 i'd agree... but its not the same franchise, its just the same developer. Remasters don't sell like new releases do.

Alan Wake Remastered is easy money, theres little connection.

This year's E3 for MS i think will seriously be their best in a long time, maybe the best ever. I think they can sense that in the US they are right on the verge of overtaking Sony and capturing the mindshare of the world's largest market. Now would be the time to give it everything they've got.

I'm going to agree with another poster who said...

What are you on about? The numbers don't show that at all.

I really hope QB is there and will release soon?

In-engine trailer of crackdown would be great... Same with scalebound?

Gears remaster for $20! Available now!

KI season 3!

Snippet of mass effect and exclusive!

They better go all out while they have a slight chance in the US. I also think they are going to have an amazing show, just by seeing the two indie games they manage to get shows they are trying in that department with (A ghost tale, Ashen) and I'm thinking BELOW will be released on E3...I got a vibe phil is going to do "And you can play Below right now on xbox & PC"

kinda hyped cause this is desperate MS.

I'm going to agree with another poster who said...

I don't think they're on the verge of much as it is, but I do think in the US they have improved their mindshare a lot and a good/big E3 could send them a long way to getting level with Sony in the US in the future as far as announcing content people want that will sell well in the region. If for example the rumoured NFL game is real, has the license and releases this year that could be a huge release for them along with any other big announcements they could make.

It's not but it's by the same developer, and in many ways is a very similar game. I do think that including it as a pre order bonus would be a great idea though, or releasing it some months after QB, just not before.

Anyway if they are making any remasters / re-releases they should be PGR2 and Rallisport 2. Ya hear me Phil?!

Quantum Break is 2016, and didn't the leaks from last year point to Scalebound being Q1 2016? Mass Effect will probably be at EA

I'm thinking that EA will premier a ME4 trailer at MS's presser and unveil gameplay at its own presser.

I actually think that's why Microsoft likes to go first. The 3rd party games they unveil are pretty much guaranteed to be fresh. It also allows them to get onto a television broadcast.

I hope KI get ported to PC. Heck, even to 360.

Game needs more exposure.

It needs more exposure, but the problem is that the Xbox loses another exclusive.

With a lot of people I talk to, KI seems to be one of the games that makes them want to own Xbox One. But they keep getting thrown off the console because it keeps losing exclusives.

Season 3 announcement? or something else?

I can't even read what that says.

My final predictions are :-

Halo 5
Forza 6
Tomb Raider
Joe Montana
Rare's Game(s)
2 or 3 3rd Party Games
Indie Segment
New controller with microphone for Kinect commands

Quantum Break and Gears Remaster saved for Gamescom amongst others.

Not sure if they will show anything of Scalebound and Crackdown with them most likely being holiday 2016 games. Hope so though.

Should be a good one!

Give me a ticket to the hype train.

Also, here are some things I would like to see but I know that are NOT going to happen;

The Gears Remaster is all 3 games but only the first one is releasing this fall with the other two releasing throughout next year as DLC leading up to Gears 4.
RC Pro-Arm and Blast Corps make a comeback as small digital only releases
Microsoft gets in bed with Capcom again but for a Dino Crisis or Onimusha reboot this time, honestly I don't care if Sony does I just want those games
Alan Wake Remaster, for $10 or free with Gold, announced and released at the E3 conference
Closes the conference with a Conker reboot teaser

I would like some new IP that would surprise the hell out of me but I doubt they have that

I think it's time to think bigger. PC is MS. MS games should act like their apps: Universal.

Cross-buy and cross-play should make the two platforms bigger and better in the long run.

I agree, Microsoft needs to embrace PC gaming and cross buy. Cross-play/buy for KI would be awesome.

I still think there needs to be a reason to own an Xbox One that you can't find on a PC if the console is to survive

Here is a good compromise, in my opinion; Microsoft should keep its AAA games exclusive to the Xbox but have its AA /F2P cross-buy/play. It will reduce the risk of those smaller titles while still giving people a reason to buy a console.

OR.. or... MS can use there over 100Ips, and take half of those they aren't using and put those on PC's, and put the rest on console.

It's a double benefit(especially to those who don't realize that in terms of gaming Xbox has made way more money than games ever had on Windows and that's because of the closed ecosystem.)

Or they can do other versions (like Russian Halo MMO) or side games (Like some f2P projects) on PC, as those are the type of games that would sell on PC a lot and make ton of money.

Not for gaming. Pc gaming is Steam, and Universal apps won't change that. Most pc-gamers are not gonna switch Steam for the closed Xbox Live ecosystem on Windows 10, even when there's cross-buy for console. If they wanna play their games on tv, there are other solutions for that.

most don't have to switch, I would easily pick the windows store version of a game over steam if it was crossbuy, and cross save. It doesn't have to beat steam, but they can co-exist.

Of course they can co-exist. As long as it doesn't mean that MS games are pulled from Steam, or that MS starts with ridiculous rules like the parity clause, it's fine by me.

But I guess that's what I'm afraid of. I'm not sure if Valve will tolerate Universal Apps on Steam. Indies won't make both Xbox Live and Steamworks versions of their games. In that case, we can only hope that devs choose for the open ecosystem.

And then there's the difference in prices between pc and console. PC games are cheaper and lower faster in price, again because of the open ecosystem on pc. Will MS allow universal games to be cheaper on Steam than on Windows 10 and X1 store?

That would mean no AAA exclusive announcement except the new Rare title.

I am expeting a little more than that :)

Mostly hoping for Killer Instinct: Season 3, gameplay of Scalebound and Crackdown and some reveals of new IPs. I hope they show more games and less multimedia stuff.

Also hope to see new Mass Effect and Fallout 4.

Joe Montana is a new IP, kind of, although that's already known I guess.

I just like to keep my expectations fairly low. Having said that I think it's a pretty good line up as it stands.

I think Scalebound will get delayed to summer or maybe fall 2016, depending on the lineup. Ntkrnl did say early 2016 but now Quantum Break has been delayed and there's a good amount of other games releasing early 2016 aswell, so they may want to avoid that and give it some time on its own.

March/April - Quantum break with Alan Wake Remaster preorder bonus

May - Banjo or whatever Rare is working on.. Don't have a clue when this will be released but May would be 2 years 1 month since KSR.. Really just tossed it in since I don't see it coming out this year, and don't know where else it'd go.

June - Alan Wake Remaster standalone & Scalebound(Maybe early July?)

July - Joe Montana 16

September/October - Forza Horizon 3 & Crackdown

November - Gears 4

That seems like a solid lineup to me for 2016. Phantom Dust somewhere in the summer if that's still in development too.

I wish MS was that good at Spacing games out. lol

I'm excited for an announcment of KI S3 but i'm not really sure if i want a similar update as for S2

I've been playing the game since D1 and i'm honestly getting bored with it (Cinder was fun at first but it ended up feeling like any ohter characters)

IF they're going for it i'm hoping for a mid/end 2016 launch, with a big rehaul to graphics/fighting system/characters

I think i'm in need of a "sequel" more than new characters alone

That's just my wish tho

That's what a lot of people of saying in the community. Let the game rest for a little bit

I think I'd prefer if they got Season 3 out there first. Bring up the roster to full strength, start selling it at retail, then take a break and start working on KI[sequel] season 1 for 2-3 years from now.

The developer or publisher sets the price for their games on Windows Store and Xbox Store.

That's also good idea. I think people are just tried out the updates every month, but the reason they do that is because they releasing characters every month. Bugs will happen, I think they should releases 4 more characters not counting Shago. The KI cup is in Jan., I think people don't want frequent updates on their characters.

Every time I see "QB" discussed my mind goes here..

I'm hoping they announce a wireless headset similar to the one for 360. It's freaking 2015 and we are using a bloody wired headset to chat. Unreal.
