JIP isn't perfect, but being on your own against four people when people do quit is some bullshit. There's no prefect system, but that is antagonising.

May is almost over. They promised a CU and ODST for this Month. Last week they still couldnt finalize a date.
And now? Still the same issue. Whatever they are doing, they must do it wrong.

I want some transparancy. Tell me whats up and not this vague posts with "sry we are still testing or finalizing etc"

Interesting they specifically mentioned that it was only for the ODST Campaign. Firefight incoming? Am I reading too much into that?

Certainly. But if they hit a snag (it's software development....) it's better that they delay things rather than release it as is and further tarnish an already tarnished rep.

it seems to me that even though I wanted the "AVAILABLE RIGHT NOW!" E3 thingy to be gears1 remake, it will be ODST

The original announcement was also Early Spring 2015. Now we are only a few days short of summer.

I dont see any indication that ODST will take another nearly 3 weeks to release. Putting it out at E3 like that would be a fairly embarassing move.

Also, this idea of MS doing an "available now" thing like Gears or Halo amuses me, they did it for a track in Forza and some DLC for DR3, they're not going to do it with big releases like Gears or a Halo

There is no "early Spring" in the original announcement on Halo Waypoint, they never said that.

My bad. Doesn't change the fact, that they worked on it several months and decided to announce a delay the last few days into May. My problem is 343i's poor and nearly non-existant communication (except when Frankie drops into Halo threads), not the actual delay.

They havent announced a delay yet. I appreciate they are cutting it very fine, but I dont think its impossible they release it over the weekend

The wording in those tweets make me think it's delayed. Why would they bother denying a placeholder date, if the game is comming two days later?

Sorry, but I don't think it will come out in the next 4 days. I think they failed certification, hence the placeholder date. There's really no need to make a placeholder date in first place, if they know they won't make it in time.

Well, let's not be unfair here. It doesn't need to come before Friday, it could come on Friday, and they technically have until the end of Sunday.

May goes on until Sunday, a weekend release is unlikely but not impossible if they can get it out. Perhaps Frankie will shoot me down on that, we'll see

OS updates can go up over the weekend so I don't see why DLC/game update can't

I've held out because of the issues, but would love that.

Everything about this release has been an embarrassing shitshow, but in the end, it would be great to have every Halo together on one platform. Hope they fix it right.
