My thing is that I always assume conferences will be disappointing. I am not easily satisfied because most things that would actually make me happy will never happen. Proper Silent Hill 1-4 remasters, for example.

So for me, the pre-E3 hype is all I have. I live for the riddles, for the teases, for the unverifiable rumors that turn out to be true and the trustworthy lies that end up a bust. Without leaks and teases, E3 might as well not even happen for me. I'll just check the news when I get home from work and that will be it. It will be over. Because all the excitement and conversation and engagement I have with E3 is entirely predicated on pre-E3 hype.

That said, this is my worst E3 ever. No leaks. No teases. Nothing to talk about. Just sitting and waiting to catch the notes on the conferences I won't be able to watch live.

It sucks.

While it's nice to have older IP show up, since RPGs have big worlds and stories, it's more interesting to me if they're new. Baten Kaitos was a pretty good game, and that world's artstyle was nice.

A RPG where you can fly everywhere would be really good. Even better would be if you had floating islands like BK did, and you could also go to islands on the water. Baby steps though, I guess. I'd be satisifed with flying everywhere for now with a new game. Then hopefully crazier stuff comes our way afterwards.

Right, that had the ships. I actually never had the chance to really play that. RPGs are intimidating now. They ask for a lot of investment when it comes to time. I have such a strong love/hate relationship with open world games. I've become a ball of conflicting emotions.

I'm just not expecting much from the PC show (Blizzard won't announce anything of note and Valve aren't on stage AFAIK - Paradox might get some HOI4 info out), I've no interested in the Bethesda, limited interest in Square, no faith in EA & Ubisoft, and low expectations of the console makers.

-Missing PSP games added to PSN for Vita, including Crisis Core, Metal Gear Acid 1+2, and Mega Man Powered Up
-Valkyrie Chronicles 3 localized
-Mother 1-3 Collection on 3DS
-Alan Wake Remastered/Alan Wake 2 on all platforms
-Complete BioShock Collection, including a major technical update to BioShock
-Red Dead Redemption PC/Remaster
-New Bully with female Bully
-New God of War in new mythology
-New Red Dead anywhere even near the narrative caliber of Redemption
-PS1/PS2 Classics on PS4
-GBA titles on n3DS
-2D/2.5D Metroid on 3DS
-New 3D Metroid on Wii U
-Perfect Dark reboot as a third person stealth shooter

And that could be it. E3 could be half remasters and revivals and I wouldn't even care.
