Remake or reboot but it look exactly the same as the old games with nothing new. even in a remake or series reboot you need to change stuff, not just doing the same. Insomniac need to bring ideas to this tired series and change their dated structure and frameworks that was the same since the third game in the series. the series need a change and a big one too.

You can say this tired criticism against 99% of games in the industry,.,,,If you only play games that do something new you barely play anything. Also you cannot make this assumption off seeing so little of the game,

It's 1080p30, the footage is 60 FPS but the frames are all doubled.

Goddamn at the visuals, looks Pixar-quality.. I'd like more animated/cartoony-looking games like this this gen. Games like Knack, PvZ:GW, Sunset Overdrive all look great thanks to the increased power of the new consoles. It's not just realistic visuals that benefit from new hardware.

Yes, I think there is a lot of untapped potential with these "animation film" type of graphics, And looking at how popular these styles are for films, I always wonder why there is such an absence of it in gaming.

(I love my dark and gritty stuff, but varied and balanced gamelibraries are the best)

And there it is. Exceeding my expectations. Fucking gorgeous. Insomniac, savior of 3D action platformers.

Literally going to buy a PS4 for it. I will never miss out on a R&C game. Ever.

I hope they add the ship-flying mechanic that ACiT had where you had to fly to the destination and could land on tiny planets in real-time and conquer them, then take off.

Also hope the weapon variety is big. Really interested in seeing what kind of beast gun the Ryno 8 is gonna be.
