Ratchet and Clank (PS4) - First Trailer [Up: 8 minutes of gameplay, $40]

We're finally there. We're finally at that Pixar level (or at least damn close) that we've always talked about.

Fucking incredible, Insomaniac. I know the last 5 years has been rough for you, but we're all good now.

You can say this tired criticism against 99% of games in the industry,.,,,If you only play games that do something new you barely play anything. Also you cannot make this assumption off seeing so little of the game,

It's a remake, obviously it'll have several things that are similar and I've said this for months.

That being said it looks good, but too bad its just a remake/reboot/movie-tie. I don't see the point unless they plan on rebooting the franchise, but then its kind of a slap in the face considering all the games they've just made prior. What a messy set of releases since Crack in Time.

Best wishes.

I'm telling you guys, since Insomniac has been freed up a bit...they're back on their game. This looks good...that boss fight was hilarious and looked like fun.

I think they got their groove back with Sunset Overdrive.

I can understand dropping the smaller stuff out of the way .... but Ratchet and Clank deserved an E3 spotlight =(

Looks pretty good, but I was expecting a different visual aesthetic for the reboot instead of just more refined. I've loved all the Ratchet games, so I'll play this regardless.

I'm gonna say it's the best looking cartoon game ever. And that ship sequence looks fast and fan as hell. I am nothing but a being of pure hype.

Hopefully the game still gets some stage time!

Amazing-looking and the animations are superb. Growing a bit tired of the gameplay formula though, and this has me extra worried since this is a 'reimagination' of a game I've already played, whatever that means. Let's hope for the best though.

Because the games are good, they sell, and people want a new one? It is not a remake either.....It's a re-imagining not a full fledged remake.

If this hits, Insomniac will be my favorite developer again.

Loved them in the PS2 era. Sunset Overdrive was brilliant.

This isn't really news.

It was announced last E3 along with the film. So we knew it was coming.

I'm not sure why some people are surprised at this game, we knew about it last year lol
No one is surprised at the game existing. They're surprised that the first footage is being shown a week before the biggest video game trade show. This is the kind of stuff that used to be held off for E3 press conferences, but now companies just throw this stuff out whenever they want. It's just going to show how pointless E3 press conferences are the more these companies realize that the internet exists and they don't need an event to get people hyped up about their game.

Wow. PS3 games looked great, but this one... fantastic! Literally WOW-ed out loud.
Looks like 2016 is the year to buy myself a PS4, finally.

I think the only moderately entertaining R&C game among those I played (the three Ps3 ones) was A Crack in Time, while still an unchallenging, very unpolished game both in platforming and shooting mechanics. But here this new one looks even a step back. How is this damn slow?

Ps: that boss is... Rare Ltd. year 1998?

YEah but your opinion is not the universal one.... A step back how?

30 fps is disappointing, but the visual and motion blur looks really good. I'm hoping more 30fps used the motion blur techniques here since it looks really smooth for a 30fps title.

Pretty game for sure, but 30 FPS for this kind of game and what I saw in the gameplay video killed the hype for me :/

I use to play the series with my cousin when I was little but now I didn't think I would be interested in the series. I just messaged my fiancee and sent her the link and she freaked out. Apparently she use to play the series also when she was little (she isn't a gamer at all), I guess this will be day one for us.

Looks crazy good. The first R&C is still my favourite in terms of humour and story. It getting a graphical and gameplay update is fantastic.

Clank is so goddamn shiny now. Loving it.

It looks amazing! From the pixel gun to the hoverboard race, everything is perfect! I need this, spring will be packed for PlayStation and can't come soon enough!
