Anyway the game looks really nice, can't wait for it.

Activision owns Crash and Jak was nowhere near as successful as Uncharted and The Last of Us.

Anyway, looks incredible. I remember being really down on Insomniac back when this was announced, thanks to Fuse and all the weak R&C games since ACiT, but the break since Nexus has me pumped up for this one. Really looking forward to it.

I understand that but it's this whole thing where ND feels like they can't go back and make cartoony platformers like they used to. Uncharted and The Last of Us are great but not every game has to go for that level of realism. I'm sure a lot of people would be stoked for a new Jak game.

It's a reimagining, not a straight up remake.
Insomniac pitched it as: what if they made the first game from scratch with today's technology in mind.

And writing team, presumably. Ratchet was such a dick in R&C1.

The footage looks outstanding. Easily the best graphics Insomniac has does for any game. The trailer says it's "in-game footage" but the aliasing looks too clean to be in-game. The footage may have been touched up in post? Maybe someone from Insomniac can clarify.

Anyway, as a R&C fan I'm excited for Insomniac to deliver a top notch title that brings back some of the best gameplay of previous versions combined with state-of-the-art PS4 graphics.
