Come on insmoniac you managed 60fps on the PS3 while still making Ratchet look great. This should be 60fps as well, especially on the PS4.

Ok yep, now im buying a ps4, It took sunset over drive to get me to buy an xbox one and this is the game that just sold me on a playstation, these colorful beautiful platformers are the types of games that I want to see more of and this looks like a pixar movie! Hopefully this will be the best r and c since a crack in time!

Well the movie is a reboot of the original story, so the game has to follow the plot.
Unless they wanted to go Prince of Persia and have the game be nothing like the movie.

I honestly think cartoon/cel shaded games have the most to gain from the bump in hardware we've got from this generation. It's just a shame that they're not exactly a popular choice among developers these days.
Subjective - to outright wrong. Better graphical effects, better AA, better overall IQ is more pleasing to the eye - one of the main reasons for cutting to 30fps (among other things).
The game will release at 30 fps. No amount of discussion will change that - PERIOD. Not that there's much to complain about other than admitting you're not buying the game as result - which you did. It's good to hold to one's individual standards and you're free to do so. That's about it.

I know why they dropped 60fps. 30fps had been much easier to market with pretty graphics at the time but things have changed significantly this generation.

Working on some stupid 3DS Sonic game apparently. Real shame, too. They did great with Thieves in Time.

The Bouncer was probably more powerful, but it lacked the swag of the Plasma Coil.

I really hope more cel shaded games get game made with big budgets this gen. I love the look of indies but I don't enjoy playing most of them.

I think because of how badly Thieves in Time did Sony is afraid of selling it at full price. Same logic as why Puzzle and Dragons 3DS was not full priced either.
I think the game will still deliver a $60 experience.
