Yeah, I've seen that Pinball FX2 and Gigantic carry over, but I would imagine they'd say something (mic drop and so forth) if that applied to this and Gears Ultimate.

It's not a whoosh, it's called get over it. This isn't like GFWL, on Windows 10 your Microsoft account is tied into the account you log into your computer with. That means that you're always logged in(offline or online) to this account and licenses will automatically just work when you buy them.

This is OS level while GFWL was just an application with DRM.

There is no guarantees of course and the PC is just getting the new KI game, but the Ultra edition arcade classics of KI 1 and 2 would be kind of cool if the DLC is available.
