Does anyone else has no trophy list? 5 hours in, got only one trophy but no list. Also can't redeem the pre-order code yet.

Got 2 characters killed so far, dat butterfly effect. Really enjoying this, glad I jumped the gun.

And I can't help but praise the outstanding camera work in this game.

Do you work in a game store? How did you get it? How would you rate the game so far? It seems to be just my type of game

I can't help but think that... for a game of this kind, this thing is gonna be more and more important with years to come. I wonder if all the praise the game is getting lately will actually be worth it when it launches for real... I remember people praising The Order 1886 for its phenomenal real time visuals, despite the subpar game mechanics and poor fun factor. UD could actually blow TO out of the water in terms cinematic experience, just for the fact that it seems to be a more focused one this time.

Only started getting trophies around chapter 9 just about an hour ago, maybe they flipped a switch just now and activated them :p. No list yet tho

Solid 8 so far, can't judge it fully but story-wise it's very well written and acted. Production value pretty high also. Hoping it lasts a bit longer.

Got it from a local shop who usually breaks street date, oh eternal praise to them.

Any word on the length of the game? Is it the type that is played through in a few hours and replayed many times?

You get trophies for different occurrences during the game, so each player will get a different amount per one play through. I got maybe five, but couldn't see the list.

Eight or nine hours for the first playthrough. And after you complete the story for the first time, you unlock the option to replay the episodes.

Went and preordered the game on the Ps Store, i'm out of town for most of next week but it'll be nice to come home and play next weekend.

Game seems just my style.

Those playing it:

Do you notice that the game makes your PS4's fans audible? I can sometimes hear the fans over the quieter parts of the game, but I wouldn't say they're necessarily jet engine loud.

I just hope this is normal.

Yeah, but this happens when I play other games too.

Don't watch streams!!!!

Also:

Does anyone else feel like it's set in
Western Canada
?

The notes and stuff indicate it's set in that location at least.

Thumbs uuuuuuup? :)

You know I can't say... but I did immediately start over. I started changing my original choices, and while I don't know of any major repercussions as of yet. I've already heard new dialog, jokes, and just different minor things so far.

I am so going to replay the shit out of this game. Repeatedly. I hope.

I know, but I'd hoped you'd slip up ;)

That sounds awesome, though!

Wow, the Wikipedia page is already full of end game spoilers.
This was inevitable in the wake of the Austria sales leak.
I would steer clear of the Until Dawn wiki. And be mindful that any chat lobbies in Until Dawn streams will be filled with spoiler savvy viewers as well.

3 hours in and man I'm intrigued, defo some weird stuff going on in the back, seemed like just a typical slasher but not quite. Presentation is really nice, graphics, atmosphere, voice acting and audio, camera work all top notch.

I'm usually not moved by jump scares but some got me real good. And there's quite a bunch of them. They really nailed the horror part.

As the rest mentioned UD is in the same league as Heavy Rain/Beyond maybe even better imo though it might be too soon to judge. If those games work for you definitely give this one a try.
and that's it right there...Gonna day one it. tks early impression posters@

Just finished my first playthrough. Took me 9-10 hours, found about 80% of the clues, not talking about number of survivors.

general/vague STORY SPOILERS:
The story is more ambitious then I thought going in, there's like 5 different kinds of horror movies in there, slasher-movie being just one of them. Some ideas worked better than others, I didn't enjoy all of the story but it came together in a pretty satisfying way at the end. Other then the gameplay, the story will be the most polarizing part of Until Dawn.
Overall, a very good experience if you enjoy these kinds of games and like horror.

edit: compared to similar games, I'd say: LiS (if the last episode is as good as the rest) > Until Dawn = Heavy Rain >>> Beyond. Until Dawn was a solid 8/10 for me, but review scores will probably be all over the place.

Just finished, what a ride! Rolling credits now but I'll post more after I digest everything. Took me 7.5 hours and this included getting about 80% of the collectibles, thought they're not really out of the way so searching for them didn't really add any significant extra time to my playthrough.

Game is dripping with atmosphere and tension. This is extremely well-written, acted, and produced. I'm also excited to do another playthrough because I want to see how the scenarios change depending on who you save. I had one character die literally at the end that almost made me quit the gane before it autosaved, but I let it go and I'll replay it to correct my mistakes!

I believe any game made before 1997 is "essentially cave man art."
There are some streams up on twitch if anyone is interested
