Says this on the wiki "In 1984, he was seen wearing a domino mask to hide the fact that he was infected with the parasite." but I don't know.
I don't think theres reason to believe mantis met eli prior to the snake and skullface jeep drive to sahelanthropus. We just know he fled his caretakers while in africa.
That would make more sense if the mask were bigger.

It's saying all nukes have been disabled. That was probably chapter 3 then; they do what Skull Face wanted to do, but don't threaten the world with nukes. Plus, that's a monument to The Boss, says so at the bottom.

Im legitimately starting to get pissed about this game.
It was funny but also what the game needed more of. Something with a bit of character. How many other cutscenes stand out? Or have great character moments?

Yeah, that's exactly what I was concerned about as far back as E3 2013. That Miller would be the one doing all the talking, despite the fact that BB is supposedly the fucking leader.
It's still to poorly paced and slapdash to be a decent epilogue. Just felt like they put all the finished scenes they had left into the game with no rhyme or reason.

So now we got context for the cut audio where V says to BB they have to make a better future. That would have probably been the start of Chapter 3 "Peace", "another mission uh Boss?", to get rid of all nuclear weapons in the world. And it ends as shown above.

In the game's current state, i think what should've happened is the game ending with Chapter 31. Also add the Venom twist before it, with Big Boss contacting Venom or something. This all sets up for a sequel and wherever Kojima was planning to take the story. He obviously had a much larger vision, seeing as there are references to a chapter 3 supposedly in some of the game code. And to think.. He couldn't even make a proper chapter 2 lol.
Kojima was fired and his studio shut down because he killed the budget and pissed Konami off. Considering it took me about 70 hours to conplete mission 45 and 46.. This game could have and should have been split in two. Instead we end up with an extremely compromised, forced ending.

Oh I agree it's poorly done but I'm talking about it just existing at all. There needs to be a lack of finality from Skull Face's death.

Best thing this game gave us IMO.
When i first played i was eating cereal and nearly choked at how wtf that line was.
I mean I was already turned off by the car ride scene shortly before then that happened.
I feel like I force myself to like her, because I want to like someone in this game. I wish VS had more character, so I can hate BB for what he did to him.
We have no way to know to know what the original contract terms were between Konami and Kojipro.
People will drive themselves insane over this game. It had a horrifically long development cycle. There's no way it didn't end up with a shitload of cut content.
Isn't MGO coming out around that time on the pc?

Other than mission 51, the content might already be all on disc. Doubt they would charge for it, doesn't seem like a long chapter really. If we got the ending, all finished as it appears to be, chances are a lot of other stuff was done. But now people will find all the data anyway so too bad either way.

Would have made the horn and blood for developing a nuke for your FOB make more sense. If you've gotten rid of all the nukes and now you're building your own you're really a demon.
