I guess PES is a South America/Asia franchise now, it's dead in Europe.

It's really not, like every sport game PES will continue to sell during the entire year, it won't reach FIFA numbers, but it will be alright just like every year. People have been calling the death of the franchise for an entire generation, yet it never happened. In fact it's the only console franchise that Konami didn't kill because of the positive profits.

FIFA 16 (-74%) remains unchallenged to claim a second All Formats No1 crown this week.

A Tuesday launch for ‘Lego Dimensions’ leads Warner’s new Toys to Life title to a debut at No2. Despite being the third Interactive Toys launch of 2015 and the second in two weeks, ‘Lego Dimensions’ debut sees it comfortably surpass week 1 sales of both ‘Disney Infinity 3.0’ & ‘Skylanders Superchargers’. In the sector as a whole it’s the third best launch week, behind both ‘Skylanders Giants’ and Skylanders Swap Force’. Take 2 also enjoy a strong debut with another Tuesday release ‘NBA 2K16’ entering the chart this week. Week 1 sales for the franchise are up by more than 53% over last year’s entry, which makes this week’s No3 the best week 1 seller in the series to date.

With two new arrivals in the Top 3, ‘Destiny: The Taken King’ (-20%) and ‘Forza Motorsport 6’ (-32%) are both down two places to No4 and No5. Nintendo’s 3DS exclusive ‘Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer’ also makes its mark at No6. The latest entry in the series sees the addition of collectible amiibo cards which unlock in game content. Outside of the Top 10, Activision’s ‘Tony Hawk Pro Skater 5’ makes a return to the chart at No12. The latest addition to the series is developed by Robomodo who took on ‘Tony Hawk Shred’ back in 2010.

lol Tony Hawk. Still too good for it though.

Pretty impressive for Lego.

Good to see NBA 2K improving in europe. Game is pretty great even though the story sucks.

Hmm I guess it's not that surprising that Lego opened the highest of the toys games, I mean it's still Lego.

Tony Hawk won't do too much money for Activision, such a shame this is how we part ways with the franchise. Skate 3 will have better sales than it next week lol.

FIFA16 at 257K.

Could figure out a range for FM6 too going back 2 weeks, but it's likely sub-10K.

edit: can't find any numbers for last year's NBA title, but it was well below 23k

Would love to know the sales difference between NBA 2K16 and NBA Live 16. Looks like Live 16 didn't even chart anywhere.

Good sales for Lego Dimensions. WB has a really stellar year so far.

This basically represents how EA manages NBA Live both in the game and the marketing around it right now

I'm not saying the series is dead, PES being the only AAA franchise that Konami will keep developing tells us everything. I was talking about its sales in Europe specifically, overall Asia and South America are still huge markets, so it will still sell millions.
