I think this ia the worst argument I've seen posted over and over in this thread honestly
I don't think so. If you actually played previous Fallout/Elder Scroll games, all of them have below average graphics. Yet their open world is massive and contains over 100~200 hours of contents. Developer probably choose to focus on contents than graphics which I prefer them to do.

the negative comments on the game graphics are breaking my heart. People who talk like this deserve this market of Assassin Creeds, 40 dollars season passes and of fifteen giga day-one patches.

I agree. I don't like the way I market too. Despite saying that, everybody will read the comment and realize that it's a fair point what comes next before the dumb part of my comment.

Game and season pass pre-ordered.
This will be lovely!
Got no time to whine about something not released yet.

Hello, my name is Yves Guillemot, Vivendi S.A.'s Employee of the Month!
So CrossingEden wrote that we get previews on monday, hope that'll come alongisde new footage and screenshots.

Yes, because it is very stupid and adds nothing to the discussion.
No I said for all we know. I wasn't confirming anything. Was merely presenting a hypothetical because people were complaining about lack of footage.

Bethesda isn't far off from Ubisoft now. Even F4 is heading towards more of a casual path.

Not to sound elitist.

Nah. Bethesda can do better; they did Skyrim.

There's something up. I can't imagine why it would look so bad in any context other than being a remastered last-gen port.

I would be really impressed if this wasn't a PS360 game at start and they just ported the game... but that doesn't justify the lack of 60fps even being open world.

$30.

And I can guarantee you would get your money's worth.

Skyrim looked like shit.

Compared to what? It looked better than just about every other open world game on consoles at the time.

Saying it looked like shit is an objectively wrong statement. There are a bazillion games that look like shit. Skyrim wasn't one of them.

Except your point still isn't really that good because you, like several other people in the thread act like game developers have to check specific boxes, and are required by the laws of gaming to allocate as much resource as equally possibly to all these different places.

In other words, you think it's a REQUIREMENT that Bethesda games should have amazing mindblowing graphics, because it's a post-apoc game that makes millions.

Have you ever considered that MAYBE, they don't care about the graphics as much, because they know most of the fans don't either? Yes, it would be nice if Fallout had great graphics, but it didn't the last two times, and it doesn't now.

They added a full, dynamic extremely in-depth crafting and building system, where almost every single physical asset in the game can be picked up, rearranged, or given a purpose in gameplay. They've completely retooled the way combat and stats work. This game has 100s and 100s of NPCs, all with stats and items and behavior patterns that need to be accounted for. They literally spent over 2 years of doing the protagonist recording lines. This game has over 111,000 voiced lines, to ensure that the game delivers the same level of freedom of choice that Fallout fans have come to expect. More than Fallout 3 and Skyrim combined. They have gone above and beyond to ensure that this is an exciting, full game with a huge world.

To have the gall to say that the entire team should LOSE THEIR JOBS, because the graphics don't BLOW YOUR MIND, is childish and petty.

Because I've played Oblivion, Fallout 3, and Skyrim. All three of those have had DLC worth my time and money.

And that's why the market model works so well.
I rather play the entire thing than its pieces for a year or two (paying double the price)

ikr. its like a sin complain about something that you are paying full price just because is bethesda game.
i thought platinum and fromsoft fans were the worst ( not in a bad way lol)
Im a huge fromsoft fan if u came at me about bloodborne and most likely dark souls 3 framerate im not going to go.."lol get use to it its a fromsoft game"fan no! Im going to agree because jus because all their games are lik thay doesn't mean they gt a pass

I'm really glad I don't get too picky with visuals. I feel like there are people who don't enjoy certain games just because of their visuals and that's so sad.

So you're talking out your ass. OK. I don't have a problem if you liked the DLC in those games. But you can't even guarantee you'll like FO4's DLC, let alone that we universally will. What if you end up hating the DLC?

No, I'm talking from EXPERIENCE. Get over yourself, past results are indicators of future results.

Not unless it breaks immersion. People like to feel immersed in the gaming world as well.

.

It all adds to the experience of playing a game.

If the graphics turn people off from the game, then that's their 'problem'. But I can't look at those images, despite the fun I'm sure the game will be, and think anything other than "That looks bad".

Well.. That pretty much explain the bad graphics. They pretty much made it 2 years ago and concentrated in the voice overs. Thinking that way you convinced me to buy the GOTY version with 75% off.
